“Perfectly located for our visit to Machu Picchu”

We stayed here for one night specifically to be well-positioned for our trip to Machu Picchu the next morning, and it was the perfect choice. The hotel's location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient to get around Aguas Calientes and reach the site easily. The staff truly stood out; they were very welcoming and helpful, ensuring everything went smoothly for our stay. We also really enjoyed the breakfast, which was delicious and the perfect fuel before heading up to Machu Picchu. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed. A great experience overall and highly recommended for anyone planning a visit to the citadel!

The place was very noisey and the hot water didn’t work. Disappointing given what it was. The staff was friendly though.

Warm welcome by the lady, she didn’t speak much English but try very her best to communicate with us and teach us some useful Spanish.

“A very comfortable stay in a central location”

The staff were incredible. The owner is amazing, kind and so welcoming. She picked us up from the train station & took us straight to the ministry to get tickets to Machu Picchu. She also prepared us breakfast every morning. The hotels location is right on the river & pretty central in the town! A very comfortable stay for 3 nights!

It's just a stock standard 2 star hotel. Decent size room and the hot water was good. Very close to town centre and you get a view from your room of the flowing river. The customer service is good

“Perfect for a stay when you’re here for Machu Picchu, all the facilities you need. Comfortable and clean”

Near to everything we needed for Machu Picchu, comfortable beds and good shower for when you come back, you don’t need anything else. They also facilitated laundry which we really needed. Kittens were lovely bonus too

“Poor value for price”

Negatives :Stained sheets and spare blanket. Mouldy bathroom.not as described on booking site. Reception not 24 hours and poor security. Positives:Location was good with great view of river and late checkout was no problem. Also help getting bus tickets and a guide was helpful. Overall though poor value for the price.

The staff were amazing. I was prepared huge breakfast box as I was leaving early. The lady even walk with me to show me where the bus station was. And I was awaited with the sign at the train station upon my arrival. Very lovely staff.

“Amazing owners”

A simple stay, which I chose because it is dog-friendly and doesn’t require one to check out at 9 am. This way, we could visit the MP at 7 am and be back at noon to pick up my dog. The staff were incredibly accommodating and nice, they checked in on my dog and sent updates. I could not recommend them more in case you are travelling with your dog.

“We would recommend because of very helpful staff”

The lady at the reception was extremely nice. She waited for us at the train station which is right outside the hostel (perfect location, and as the trains don't go at night, we didn't have a problem with sleeping). Then she explained in detail how we will get to Machu Picchu the next day and what time we should go, and some extra details that were very helpful. She prepared lunchbox for us for the tour next day, and she let us leave our luggages at the hostel until our train left in the evening. The room was okay, bed was comfortable and she provided a hairdryer too.

The highlight of our staff is the wonderful staff Marleni, friendly, kind of joyful. we are a bunch of malaysians who speak little spanish was she welcomed us with care. it's a simple hotel with a tiled floor in the room so that's a plus. they will be able to prepare taekaway breakfast for you if you are going to machu picchu (so long the timing fits into their window) bed and pillow is pretty comfy. so you are sure to have a good sleep

breakfast was great. location was perfect. staff were terrific. close to everything, train, shops. bars, tickets. centre, the views from the breakfast room.
