Host was excellent, picked us up on arrival at the train station and helped us collect our bus ticket to Machu Pichu the next morning, guided us around town and advised us thoroughly for our visit to machu pichu

Breakfast was OK , room was roomy .

Picos house is near the train station we would find but the owner Carlos was waiting for us at the station which was easier. The room was spacious, but with a view of the rooms of the neighboring house. There was a nice view from the terrace (which was being renovated), but it was a bit cold during breakfast in the spring.

“Amazing views from the terrace”

Picos house is located walking distance from the train station and but outside from the noisy aguas Calientes. Carlos was super attentive and even wait for us ar the station. The house is new and it has the best terrace where you can seat and relax, have breakfast and enjoy the amazing views. We travel with our 4 yearly old daughter and she loved it. Carlos even has toys in the terrace and the house is located few steps from an amazing playground populated with local kids. We all had a great time and highly recommend it. Gracias Carlos !

It was very comfortable, warm and very clean. It was very new. Carlos, the owner met us at the station which meant it was easy to find the property.

The owner Carlos was so nice and friendly!! This was exceptional!!

The host was very helpful, meeting me at the train and taken me straight to the machu picchu with no troubles which i had already booked in advance and became my guide automatically 😀

Carlos went above and beyond to help us with everything. This was low season so he gave us all his attention during our stay. He even gave us an extra room for our 2 nights (free of charge) since a crib could not be accommodated. He appears to be the only one available on premises so he was responsible for making us breakfast, checking us in, picking us up from the train station (nice gesture). The view from the rooftop was breathtaking and worth every step you take to reach the hotel.

A perfect stay at Picos house. Zain picked us up at the train station and was very kind and helpful. The breakfast on the roof top is amazing, it has a fantastic view to the city center and the valley (I think one of the best you can find in Aguas Caliente)

The lady on the desk was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble plus a comfy bed

Had an extremely comfortable and relaxing stay! The hotel is situated on a hill, providing a peaceful and private atmosphere. The interior of the hotel room was impeccably clean. The owner was incredibly attentive and speaks excellent English, helping me with purchasing Machu Picchu tickets and suggesting local attractions. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

Carlos was brilliant, he met us at the station and helped us carry our bags to the hostel. He gave us loads of great tips about our trip to Machu Picchu the next day, buying bus tickets etc. The hostel was clean and lovely, with warm water and comfy beds. There is a beautiful view from the breakfast area and Carlos provided fruit, fresh bread, tea and eggs before our trip up Machu Picchu.

The manager, Carlos, was excellent from start to finish. He have us tips for visiting Machu Picchu as well as things to do in Aguas Calientes. Very modern and clean hotel with a fantastic upper terrace that has incredible views of the town and surrounding mountains. Great view from our room as well. Would definitely stay again if lucky enough to get a second visit to the amazing Machu Picchu!

please let people know that you don’t have a reception. you kindly wrote to us to let you know when we arrive. as we came down from Machu Pichu we could not predict. we stood in front of the Hotel for an Hour being unable to contact anyone. we had to look for another Hotel at night.
