“Friendly owner and good location, but major cleanliness issues”
I recently stayed at Killa Sumak near Machu Picchu, and while there were some positives, I can’t say I had the best experience. The location is quite good—close to the train station and easy access to the start of the Machu Picchu trek. The owner is incredibly nice and went out of her way to prepare breakfast for those of us leaving early, which was much appreciated. The hot showers were also a welcome relief after a long day of hiking.

Amazing staff did everything they could to accomodate me and my baby. access to kitchen, hot water and everything i needed to relax and pass a few days working whilst visiting the thermal baths and just chilling out coming and going as i pleased.

“Nice place”
Very caring host! The biggest advantage of this place is that in the morning if you go to the mountain early, you will be given a latch box! It is definitely very nice!

“Perfect attention”
The place is really near the train station. Clean, comfortable and with a hot shower! The attention was awesome Visentina was really kind and answered all of my questions clearly. She made for us a pack of snacks for the next day's hike to Machu Picchu. We could leave our stuff there for half a day without any problems! Highly recommend!
