Located only 100 metres from Aguas Calientes Railway Station, and 150 metres from the bus stop to Machu Picchu, Hostal La Payacha offers rooms with a mountain view. Breakfast is provided. An excellent location, right next to the train station, with a rushing river on the other side. The train traffic was not disturbing, and the sound of the river was not unpleasant (although for some people it might be too loud). Clean room and comfy bed.

Great location, close to everything, clean, friendly staff. Access is easy from train station and to buses. Our room had a view of the river.

We loved the location. We had a room overlooking the river. It was fascinating to watch. The bed was comfortable with a good hot shower. Breakfast was made fresh and the staff are lovely. The beer was the best price too. Best to bring ear plugs but worth it

“Perfect value for money with very nice people working there”
Welcome desk was very nice and Berta, working there, is amazing. Rooms are big enough and there are big windows. Everything was clean (which was not the case with my last accommodation at Aguas Calientes). Breakfast was amazing and lady serving it was also very nice. Value for money in this case is perfect!

“Very reasonably priced clean and nice option for a 1 night stay before hikng MP”
Very reasonably priced hotel, great breakfast, great views and everything you need if you are only staying one night to wake up early in the morning to travel to Macchu Picchu. Special thanks to the staff who were very helpful, kept our luggage while we hiked the MP. Hotel is only 3 - 5 mins walk from the train station and special bonus (or mind it) you will sleep to the sound of the mountain river right below the hotel.

The location is excellent, right in front of the train station, which makes it very convenient. The trains stop around 10 pm, so it’s quiet at night. The river view from the room was beautiful, and the room itself was clean.

Our room overlooked the river which afforded an amazing view. Great budget hotel. Very nice breakfast with eggs made to order
