Beautiful property with lots of space for family of six. Large pool with lovely lighting at night. Air conditioning was great and lovely open plan living area.

Villa Angela is a beautiful 3 bedroom detached villa with a large private pool. The property was clean, and had a homely feel to the décor. The kitchen appliances were all very new, and the villa had lots of amenities such as pool, air conditioning, barbecue, large television, selection of books, various outdoor sitting areas to track the sun as the day progresses, and some beautiful indoor and outdoor irrigated garden areas. the hosts have listened to previous feedback and made changes (for instance there is high speed Wi-Fi, iron and ironing board etc. which were mentioned in previous reviews). The location is in a quiet residential street, and we were not disturbed by any surrounding noise. The perfect quiet retreat. The villa serves as a great central location to explore the island by car, and visit the many beautiful secluded parts of the island or visit the busy tourist town of Playa del Carmen, which is less than a 10 minute drive away. There is a Eurospar less than 2 mins drive away, but we tended to visit the Lidl in playa del Carmen which was 10 minutes away, which is well stocked with local delicious Canarian and Spanish produce. The location would probably be a bit isolated for anyone holidaying without private transport. The pool was quite large for a private pool, when heated was very comfortable. The pool is very deep (over 2m in places) which is great, and allows for some proper swimming.

“Awesome house!”

Wow, this was a blast. I rented many villas during the last years, but this one was the best at this price range by far. All rooms are air conditioned and everything actually worked. The washing machine was like brand new - like many other things. We had German satellite TV and the freezer had cold packs. The window blinds were awesome as they are heavy duty and keep the sun out 100%. The bathrooms were amazing. Everything was very clean. Towels got changed from time to time and we got the contact information of the pool guy so we were able to decide when it needed to be cleaned. Even small things like clothespins were there. Eurospar supermarket is like a 2 min car ride away. The owner always replied very promptly via booking.com which is a bit impersonal, but we actually liked it that way. We had a very pleasant stay there with 5 people. Thanks a lot!

“Great Location and traditional style villa - but be aware of no wifi!”

We stayed at Villa Angela during the Christmas period. One of its good points is the beautiful house! The villa is in true traditional Cesar Manrique Lanzarote-style architecture and interiors with beautiful grounds and amazing volcano and sea views. The pool is fantastic! Great area to sunbathe and was used daily! It was a bit pricey to heat but it was lovely and warm (although the maintenance could have been better as we had to clean the pool daily) The location of the villa is great as its close to Puerto del Carmen, a great base if you want to explore the north, only 30 min drive from Playa Blanca in the South, and only 10 minutes away from Timanfaya area (by car) The beds are very comfortable, bathrooms nice and the kitchen is well stocked with necessary utensils.
