“Remote place.”

The room is basic and small but clean with fan so o.k. But it's a 20 minutes taxi ride from the busstation and the centre and very hard to find! Nothing is indicated, nowhere a name and although I gave my arrival time I had to make 2 phonecalls and wait 5 minutes in the street until someone came to meet me. After searching I found Jequitiba Quartos which is down a very steep street. But I had to go back to Hotel João which is a bit easier to find. IT'S THE ONE STORE HOUSES BEHIND THE BIG GATE AT THE CORNER OPPOSITE THE SUPERMARKET..When you arrive ask if you are in Hotel Joâo, even if you booked Jequitiba, and wait for someone to check you in! It's a residential neighbourhood and besides the supermarket there is nothing. As they don't have a kitchen to have a proper meal or a cup of coffee is impossible.

Very good for my one night stay. Has a big inner parking. The host was super nice and responsive. Quiet and comfortable bed, I slept very well. All seemd quite clean

The position on Booking's map is off by a few houses. Look for house number 7.
