Great location in Mababe for an overnight stay between Maun and Savuti. Great pool and very nice bar. The accommodation was very clean and just good.

“Good place if you love wildlife”

The campsite was spacious with private bathroom/shower/wash-up unit, all clean. We could also use the nice pool / restaurant and bar area. We used the restaurant one night and the food / service was really good. We loved that the camp is not fenced and animals can move around. These seem to be used to campers and we had elephants eating at a bush right next to us. An hyena walked passed us a few meters away, while having dinner. You just have to keep calm and enjoy.

This place is super amazing. We stayed in the lovely campsite which is open to the bush. Hippos and other animals roam there at night. Each campsite is very private and spacious. The private bathroom and washing up area is very spacious and well built. Right next door is Mabbe River Lodge, one of he most gorgeous lodges I've seen. All very natural and wild. Only 7kms from Chobe park gate and Kwai is not far. Some nice local game drives too. Stunning place

Camping at #8 !! Wild animals in your camp. The feeling of being in raw nature. Buffalos 10m from our camp fire.....then we very quickly got into our roof top tent. Hyenas under our roof top tent. The owner Thys is super informative and the camp crew very helpful. Best pool ever!! We will certainly be back.

Very good place for both Chobe and Moremi. The owner is super attentive. Loved the pool and the bar.

Amazing place to stay with wildlife everywhere. Woke up to elephants eating the tree next to our tent which was amazing.

“A well above average campsite”

A well above average campsite for this region. An external sink unit, shower room and toilet for each site. Two units back on to each other and the campsites are closer together than you would expect in the bush. Similarly not the bush views some sites provide. But instead you can have access to your private facilities and a very well presented open air bar and restaurant and even a swimming pool. If we'd known how good it could be I'd have planned a restful afternoon and served dinner for a change from bush cooking but our pre planned itinerary did not allow.

“Perfect introduction to Savuti”

Beautiful, well looked after property with lovely facilities and friendly helpful staff. The property is right next to the river with all the animals that you would seen in Khwai, but with far better facilities. We stopped over on our way to Savuti but ended up staying longer.

“A-MA-ZING view and dinner”

The view. The quality of the food. When we arrived they asked us if we want to have dinner, because we booked in advance they offer dinner option. Best food we have had during our holiday. But also the vibe on the bar is amazing. And having your own ablution block made it the best. Small scale!

Everything! Campsite is situated under trees, so nicely shadow. Unfenced, so you get the real natural wildlife thrill :) Lodge is amazingto hang out and watch the plains for more animals. Loved the honesty bar: grab your drink, make a note, pay later Owner/staff is really nice, we had great talks in the evening. Perfect start/ending point for Chobe!

This was a unforgettable stay! Hot water and clean ablutions, very friendly staff! We even saw a hyena kill a couple of meters from the main area!
