Really nice farm experience with all the amenities at your disposal. Game roam freely and makes for some unexpected close-up experiences, which is great for the kids!

The old farmhouse is beautiful and was exceptionally clean. The view is stunning. Beds were super comfortable and the main bathroom is newly renovated. The owner gave clear instructions per WhatsApp and even assisted with info of restaurants nearby. Although we arrived we were friendly met and small touches like rosemary leaves were appreciated.

“Just incredible, place to go to enjoy nature!”
It was such a beautiful area to spend the weekend. Not too far from our home, but far enough to be in the middle of nowhere. The view from the porch was just incredible and we saw so many animals. We slept comfortably and the hosts were just amazing.

We enjoyed the beauty of the surroundings and the hiking trails that were available. We actually hiked up the mountain without realising it and got to experience scenery beyond our wildest expectations. We also encountered wild animals - zebra and buck, closer than we expected. Aaron and the other employees on the premises were very friendly and courteous and were willing to help if required. During our stay, we were the only guests.

“The place is bigger than the price, experience is moderate but the comfort is excellent.”
This place was very comfy though I believe going there during summer would have been best. As for the winter, there is not too much green if that's what you want. I did not regret my stay here, going back there soon. Zebras are very visible, you are away from the city noise and totally surrounded by nature.

“The place is calm”
The name speaks for itself, a nice forest gateway. Very relaxed, attentive owner she called to make sure we were ok and caretaker came just to see that we are ok and assisted when we needed something . An overall tranquil place away from the busy suburban life. I definitely recommend the place for anyone who loves nature.

There was nothing at all to like. Infact that was a day light robbery. Couldn't even be around the property for more than 5minutes

“A fantastic location, but not a great experience”
The location is fantastic. On a large farm, up against the mountain, with some game on the farm. Allen set a huge pit fire and braai fire for us each night. Very peaceful with walks on the farm and up the mountain. There are also great gravel rides in the area.
