Overview
Located on Maafushi Island, Stingray Beach Inn offers a relaxing getaway and a cosy atmosphere. It houses a restaurant, hammocks in the garden, where guests can relax and rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi. Guests can relax in a common hot tub, fish, snorkel or embark on a cruise to watch dolphins in the sunset. Water sports facilities are also available on site. Union Pay is accepted here. Bathed in warm light, rooms have soothing colour tones and unique wall motifs. All units are equipped with a TV, safe, seating area and private bathroom. Local, Maldivian and Haute dishes are served at the restaurant. In-room dining is possible with room service. Beach Stingray Inn is a 30-minute speedboat ride and a 1.5-hour ferry ride from Male International Airport.

“Nice place”
This is a nice place to stay especially if you like cats. They have resident cats who stroll around the outside bit and are really friendly. The place was clean and a short walk away from shops, restaurants and the beach. You have use of a pool and restaurant at the sister hotel next door. They also help you book excursions. Wifi wasn’t good.

“Not recommended”
Nothing, I can not recommend this place. They charged me USD 6 extra per night for green tax upon arrival what no other accommodation did on Maldives. The whole place and rooms is dark, dump, there is mold and a bad smell, the furniture and facility is totally worn down, it is loud at night, I had many mosquitos in the room, very old and cheap facilities. Staff is unfriendly and knocking on your door all the time and asking you several times where are you going, when do you check out and what hotel you go to next....which is all really none of their business.. In the first room, I had spiders and cockroaches in the bathroom, a very bad smell and mold and I could not sleep the whole night. They refused to give me a refund for my booking for the upcoming nights that I had already paid for before I arrived.

The staff is very helpful and the breakfast is delicious, a lot to choose from. Location is good, close to the bikini beach. The bed was huge and comfortable.

“Loved the location and atmosphere, but did not sleep well.”
Location was great and staff was friendly. Food was good and I loved spending time with the little kittens! the dinner at the beach on our last night was beautifuly set up and food was very tasty. Was great to get 20% off from the spa treatments next door. I also really appreciated the access to filtered water each day which helped me avoid purchasing plastic bottles.

The staff was very kind, they fulfilled our every wish, always smiling and ready to help. The accommodation is excellent for the money that was paid, they even brought us breakfast in the room when we fell asleep, fantastic restaurateurs, there is no such thing in Europe.

Location is good. The place is peacefully. Small but ok. Reasonable price for budget hotel. Restaurant for breakfast and pool share with Tritons hotel that comfortable. Staffs are friendly and helpfully and welcomed.
