Overview
Located in the heart of Vieux Lyon, Le Gourguillon offers a garden and terrace, and there is a hot tub or spa bath in each room. Saint Jean Cathedral and Vieux Lyon Metro Station are both only 400 metres away. All rooms feature a TV, refrigerator and coffee machine, while some have a terrace or views of the city and garden. 10 minutes walk from the Roman ruins up the hill, and 10 minutes walk to town down the hill..... Classic Lyon, located in a narrow street where free parking is a short (2minites) walk up the lane. Rooms are well equipped, and ours had a giant double spa bath. Comfy bed and lots of space made an enjoyable stay. The walks up or down the lane are relatively steep and whilst cars do drive up the one way lane no access is available for guests. Take your time with the steep walk, but if you are not willing to walk this may not be the place for you. If you can walk you are rewarded with restaurants, the river and the old town down the hill and the ancient Roman ruins, and still used Roman Ampitheatre up the hill.

The property was spacious, well appointed and had things that a traveller appreciates eg kettle, small refrigerator, iron and ironing board. It is very well-situated within the old district of Lyon. It is very close to many attractions, restaurants and cafes. There are spectacular views of Lyon from the neighbourhood.

only one thing , the attendant Alexis is a very helpful and pleasant person . He is the receptionist , bell boy , manager , travel agent , all rolled into one as there is no other staff
