“Excellent price/performance ratio at an excellent location”
Location is unbeatable, just above the ancient Roman theater - with the corridors and many of the rooms looking directly at it - and just a few hundres of meters away from Basilique Notre-Dame de Fourvière where you can also find the stop of the funiculaire which will take you down to the lower part of the city in no time. The single room was nothing special; simple and clean with a comfortable bed and a tiny but fully functional bathroom. The staff is lovely.

“Enjoyable stay in this cultural city.”
The hotel was basic, but very nice, really liked it. The view from the city-side windows (3rd floor) was magnificent, one of the best I've ever had in my life! The breakfast was very good and there was enough of everything. The staff was polite, flexible and helpful. The owner organisation does good aid work! Definitely my number one choice the next time I'm in town!

“Excellent value for money and great location”
Excellent value for money. Rooms are simple and clean, staff were helpful. Breakfast was simple but good. Location is great right next to the Cathedral.

“Majestic Hillside Hotel at Hostel Prices”
Lovely views of the Roman forts in a very beautiful hillside location. Staff were extra courteous and helpful, and the rooms were very clean. Easy access to the funicular to reach the metro and major train stations across western Lyon. After taking public transport, I could easily get to a host of shops, restaurants, and pubs. Toilette, shower, and WiFi were all good as well. Absolute bargain for Lyon!

“Fantastic location, great reception staff.”
Great location, just cross the road and you will find the Roman ruins Théâtre Gallo Romain de Lyon-Fourvière, also a few minutes walk there is the Basilica of Notre Dame of Fourvière. Comfortable bed, super friendly and helpful receptionist (English speaker). Breakfast is not bad but there is room for improvement.
