We had a lovely peaceful stay in Tommy's cabin. We saw the aurora on a few occasions without leaving the grounds as very little light pollution here. Lots of snow when we arrived, lovely walk down to the river. The children loved sledging on the hill. Very peaceful and quiet. All we needed was in the cabin. It was warm and comfortable and Tommy was an excellent host.

Our stay was nothing short of perfect. The view from the cabin was absolutely breathtaking, offering a stunning panorama of Lyngenfjord. It was a daily joy to wake up and take in such majestic scenery. The seating area was excellent, with large windows that allowed us to watch the Northern Lights right from the comfort of the couch. We were also lucky to spot a group of reindeer early one morning, adding a touch of magic to our stay. The cabin itself was spacious and exuded a clean and fresh atmosphere, with well maintained rooms and the bathroom. The beds were extraordinarily comfortable, making each night’s sleep truly restful. The kitchen, dining area, and living areas were well-designed, cozy, and spotless. One of the highlights was the spacious deck. Equipped with shovels, we were able to clear the snow easily, giving us an ideal spot to enjoy the lights under the open sky. Tommy, our host, was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. He went out of his way to make us feel at home, even sharing cod and halibut, which we cooked and found to be absolutely delicious. This personal touch made the experience all the more memorable.

The location was truly awesome. The cabin had everything we needed, it was beatiful and easy to find. The communication with the owner Tommy went smoothly, and the instructions and info that Tommy had left was great.

“THE perfect stay”

When we arrived at the house we could not believe our own eyes. Everything exceeded our expectations. The peace that the house radiates and the view of the mountains and the beautiful Lyngenfjord is impossible to surpass. The house was spotless. The kitchen is simply perfect. The beds are excellent so that we had a perfect night's sleep. In addition, Tommy, the very friendly owner, is extremely helpful and always and easily accessible. His father is a fisherman and we bought from him the most tasteful halibut. Tommy gave us very useful tips to explore this magnificent corner of Norway. Am I exaggerating that this was our best stay ever? No!

The location is perfect for someone who does not want to be in a big city. The views are stunning and the nature is all around you. Nothing to complain.

Tommy's cabin is a cozy "place to be" at the beautiful Lyngen Alps. The cabin has everything you need for a great vacation. It has an incredible view and Tommy is a great host. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the apartment.

A wonderful view directly from the house 😃 the interior layout of the cottage and its overall equipment was perfect (including a shoe dryer!). Very nice and helpful host (Tommy, thank you again! 😉) great location, close to the airport, great trips in the nearby area. Highly recommend!

“The best place I have ever stayed.”

It's the best place I have ever rented. Amazing views (the online photos don't do it justice). The property has everything you could possibly want. pluss more. From the best equipped kitchen I have ever seen in a holiday, let (I am a chef, by the way) to the extremely comfortable living area with breath taking views of the mountains and fjords. There were snow shoes and poles in a variety of sizes to fit everyone in our group of 4, shoe dryers, outdoor bbq, and 2 sleds. A washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, and 2 coffee machines. If I haven't mentioned it, I'm sure this house had it. We bought fish from the owners father cod (was gifted to us and Halibut 1.5kg for about £17 English pounds. It's definitely worth it. The owner advised us on some good walks my inlaws could do (both in their late 70's). We had a fantastic week and will definitely return. The northern lights put on such a good show that you could sit on the sofa in the warmth and watch from indoors if you wanted to.

The location was fantastic, open view down the fjord, and seeing reindeer wondering around close to the property was a real bonus.

We loved the cosy atmosphere, especially in the living room. The view over the fjord and the mountains was amazing. The location is remote, but beautiful and we really liked it.

Everything was just perfect. With 6 kids and two dogs it was very nice location. Beautiful views. Tommy was very helpful and was always there if we needed something to ask.

Absolutely amazing place. Beautiful view to the sea and mountains. The cabin has a nice big terrace and a big yard. Nice private feeling since no other houses right next to the cabin. Very handy storage room in a separate building. Overall very well equipped cabin. Really enjoyed staying here and want to come back. Tommy is a really friendly and helpful host. Thanks again for everything. Highly recommend!

“Anazing host and a perfect cabin!”

Absolutely amazing property with a lovely and extremely helpful host! I can’t recommend it enough, it was a fantastic trip! The log fire keeps the cabin warm and cosy for the colder nights and the cabin is in the perfect location to see the northern lights, we saw them twice during our stay! The cabin overlooks the water with a perfect view of the mountains and surrounding areas. It was quiet and peaceful with no properties overlooking to give you the perfect sense of privacy. The cabin also has an amazing shower to warm you up along with a heated bathroom floor for if you have cold feet after a walk in the snow. The bedrooms were warm and cosy and you don’t feel the cold at all. it truly is a magical place to stay! what makes it even better is the host, Tommy, who gave fantastic advice on the weather conditions, roads and local area. Tommy checked we were okay throughout the stay and helped with anything he could, making the trip extra special! I highly recommend trying the fish that his father catches and prepares it was super tasty! The cabin is in the perfect location for local hikes, trips and amenities. There are two local shops just down the road stocking everything you could need. We also highly recommend the snowmobile trips! Thank you so much Tommy for an amazing stay in your perfect cabin! I’m sure our family and friends will be staying in the near future!

Beautiful place! Really cozy cabin in the best possible location. Tommy is a great host who helps out with everything including getting fresh fish 👏 we would definitely go again!
