“Short stop overnight but we really enjoyed it.”
The building is an ornate old style building. Lobby / reception was great. It is dated, but this is part of the charm with these hotels. It was lovely and comfortable with nearby free parking. If you want a "state of the art" building with all modern amenities then you don't book into The Grand in any town as these tend to be of a certain age. The staff were helpful and chatty and facilities to get a bite to eat, were just down the road. A short walk, lovely on a nice day.

Hotel is Downtown. All Positive I can find. There is free parking not too far.

“Avoid until the hotel’s refurbishment project has been carried out.”
No drinking water or ice was available and there was NO hot water at all in bathroom. Carpets were filthy.

“Never again!!”
The location is the reason I have stayed at this place for over 15 years. It is near the river and a beautiful park. Downtown Lynchburg is quaint. There are different restaurants.

There was NO breakfast which is the best meal of the day to me.
