“Best villa for family stay”

Everything! Very nice and helpful host, excellent location, perfect house (and clean too), equipped with everything including toys, games. And the sea at the doorstep…just great. We felt as at home, but away from home:)

Amazing location right on the beach. Beautifully presented house and garden. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Use of the kayak and paddle board was a big hit with my teenage children. The host met us on arrival with a home cooked meal and lots of local goodies and had stocked up the kitchen with breakfast options. It far exceeded our expectations even though we’d read excellent reviews before we arrived.

The experience was exceptional. House is on the beach, everything is there, what could be needed during family vacations. Host is exceptional, haven't seen better services/communication. “Perfect beach house for an awesome family holiday”

The position of the house is amazing, the garden's gate literally opens on the beach. The house is spacious and fully equipped, also with plenty of games for kids of multiple ages. In the garden you also have a kayak and a paddle, both in excellent condition. The location is itself very nice, a small, well-protected gulf with perfect water and minimal waves.

I had one of the best holidays of my life at Golden Shell! Short & sweet. Four days staying on the most beautiful beach full of cafes and restaurants, it was such a joy to walk out the gate of the beautiful garden and be standing on the beach ready to dive into the Aegean Sea. I will absolutely stay here again. Thank you so much Maria (and please thank your mum for making the moussaka on arrival that was so so thoughtful)

Location was excellent

A incredibly Nice place with lots of space. A garden perfect for relaxing and letting a kid Play around Without worry. The house is practically ON the Beach. When we arrived the host greeted us and had made us a big moussaka that was still in the oven. There was also a big basket of bread, fruites and other delicious things, and a good greek wine! This place itself is all the reason we need to come back to crete. Just amazing!

Maria - a magical women waited for us to checkin , left us a Welcome Musaka and had tons of patience to explain about the place, close by recommended restaurants etc. The flat was well organized with sufficient place for all 6 of us , graet front end garden and direct access to the beach !

The house is absolutely perfect. Never been to a place so well equipped- In general and especially for kids (we were 5 with kids 10,8,3- all were super happy with the toys, games and beach stuff, which of course made the parents really happy) Everything is nicely and thoughtfully decorated, With first class furnitures both inside and outdoor. All with great care for details. Maria was so kind, came to meet us at the house with a cooked dinner and some other goodies. The house is ON the beach. And the water are calm and crystal clear. This is truly the definition of a vacation home.

Its a perfect dream location, the owner is very welcoming and the house is very comfortable. This is the best location you can hope for. Great paddle board and lots of games. The house had a lit of things provided so we didnt nedd to buy so much things. Kitchen all working very well. . The owner also allowed us a late check out that was so kind of her....
