The apartment was very clean, and the photos match reality. It is spacious, with a beautiful view from the balcony, and when you step outside you are right on the beach. Inside, there is everything you need if you want to cook by yourself. The area around the house is well kept with sunbeds always available. Nearby you can find a small shop with all the basics, as well as places to rent a car or book a tour. There are also a few nice local restaurants. The music from the cafe close by did not disturb us at all and overall the place feels quiet and comfortable for a family stay. Our flight was in the evening, and the host kindly allowed us to check out later without extra charge. One note, not about the apartment, but the beach, the entrance to the sea is rocky almost everywhere, so it’s better to use special swimming shoes. There are a couple easier spots to get in, but they are usually crowded and quite narrow. If you are with kids or someone who cannot swim, the entrance to the sea is not very comfortable.

The most spacious and comfortable apartment we have stayed in so far during our vacations in Greece! The apartment is located right on the beach. The apartment has everything you need, the owners of the apartment really thought of everything and nothing is missing in the apartment. Including dish soap, towels and rags in the kitchen, all the kitchen utensils you need without missing anything, mosquito repellent devices, 4 large bottles of cold water in the fridge, a dishwasher and a washing machine with all the necessary materials for use (it's really not obvious that you put materials. Thank you 🙏), oven , microwave, kettle, in short there is everything. There is a smart TV, the living room is spacious and the couch is really comfortable even for a nap (from experience...), a dining area. And the highlight is the balcony facing the sea. A dreamy, spacious and comfortable balcony with a hanging chair and sun loungers and a large dining table in front of the beach (on this side there are sunrises, no sunsets). The apartment is exactly as you see in the pictures and it is even more beautiful and more comfortable in reality! We spent a week in the apartment, go down to the sea with a bathing suit, you don't need to take anything except a towel, the room is seconds away from you. The entrance to the room is with a number coder so you don't even need to take keys to the beach. On the beach a few steps away from the apartment there are several taverns and also a mini market that has everything you need for daily shopping. Right next to the apartment there is a beach restaurant where we ate brunch meals (pizza, toast, omelets, salad, hamburger and chips) and to the right and left of the apartment there are seafood taverns 50 to 100 steps away. For larger stores, drive 20 minutes towards Heraklion, where there is a jumbo store and all the major supermarket chains, bakeries, etc. In short, a perfect apartment for a perfect beach vacation in Crete.
