“Great place on the beach”

Great place with beautiful views and really nice owners who run the restaurant underneath the apartment (great food). Will definitely return.

Room is very nice, location perfect if you want calm and clean beach. For me much nicer than Agia Pelagia although this place is a bit isolated. There is shampoo and hair dryer in the room, sufficient number of towels for two people, and clothes washing machine next to the room which you can use.

The apartments are clean and comfortable. The hostess Stella welcomed us very kindly 💝 Delicious food right under the apartments in the tavern 😋 We would like to come back 🤗

“Location great, but you have to bring your own toilet paper!”

I was pretty sure to give 9 or 10 of 10 before we came. On the way to the hotel, owner called us saying that the room is ready (I asked them to do so, as we stayed all night on the way to Crete) much earlier than was check in time (at 9:23 instead of 15:00). The location is great, you are on the beach, we had frontal two floors apartment just above the restaurant (you have to close the windows at evenings to avoid the noise from tavern, but this is ok!) Kitchen has everything you need on the vacation. Even that the mattresses are old and so very soft, beds are still comfortable. Check in was quick, we get keys from the cousin of owners, waiting at close mini market which they runs.

One minute to get to the beach, we had a room with sea view from the window. The restaurant food was very tasty and fresh

“A perfect place to spend holidays on Crete”

Nice looking, spacey, well furnitured apartment with an astonishing seaview. It is located straigt on the seaside, a nice sandy beach. Convenience store, restaurants are right outside. Private parking spot is right behind the building (is free for guests). There was also very quiet/intimate, a perfect place to relax and enjoy the sea, the Greek cuisine, and the Sunny Cretan weather. Close to Heraklion.

These apartments are right on the beach. There is a parking spot available and it is easy to get a car in and out. Our host also runs the Taverna downstairs.

“Great welcome, great stay”

The apartment was directly opposite the beach, upstairs from a taverna which was so good that we ate there every night. It was open plan and very simply furnished in Cretan style with a bedroom overlooking the downstairs kitchen and bathroom area. The air con worked well, a blessing in the extreme heat we experienced during our stay, the walk in shower was powerful, the large fridge was excellent. Everything was spotlessly clean and any queries were met with immediately. There was an outside sitting area which overlooked the beautiful bay of Lygaria. There were no noise issues, everything was quiet, calm and relaxed throughout our stay.

Appartment is really on the beach, stafc was great, especially Stela. The Anatoli Tavern, which is below the appartment has wonderful food and prices.

Excellent position by the sea, wonderful people, great food, spacious room. It's hard to describe the well-being one feels there, how the owners are nice and welcoming, always with a smile on and kind words. Their hospitality amazed me, the food was, as said, delicious and the position of the hotel was perfect. Best place I've ever been!!! 🥰🥰🥰

Stunning apartment five meters from the sea, the view from the window is a dream, we were very satisfied.

We stayed for 10 nights in this lovely apartment with 2 balconies both with awesome views over the beach. It was excellent value for money. Clean and well equipped. Plentiful hot water all the time. Wifi worked well. The owners were very kind and they accommodated our vegan diet, they even bought vegan cheese and sugar free muesli for us in Heraklion as we couldn't buy it locally. 10% discount on meals at the taverna, with the usual vegan traditional Greek dishes on the menu. They arranged a taxi to and from the airport for us when we asked for €35. Ligaria was a beautiful beach with calm water for swimming. €7 for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella .
