The 3-star superior hotel is a non-smoking hotel in the heart of the old town of Lutherstadt Wittenberg, beautifully located on the newly designed Schwanenteich. Am Schwanenteich's restaurant is open daily and offers breakfast and evening meals. Packed lunches are available for guests taking day trips. Hotel-Pension Am Schwanenteich is a 2-minute walk from the Stadthaus and Exerierhalle, and a 5-minute walk from the historic market square, the Schlosskirche church, the Lutherhaus (Luther's House) and the Cranachhöfe. It is also opposite a park featuring jogging trails and a small pond. The hotel offers rental bikes as well as storage space for bikes and motorbikes. It is a 7-minute walk from Lutherstadt Wittenberg Altstadt Train Station and a 12-minute walk from Wittenstadt Main Station.

“Highly recommend!!!”
Great location for both visiting thé sites and close to local walks in nature. Spacious carpark for visitors. Reception was really nice, thé room very clean and comfortable. We did have dinner one night which was very tasty, service was polite and efficient. Spécial thanks to the receptionist lady who was exceedingly helpful with visiting guidance tips.

“Wittenberg is a lovely place to visit and Am Schwanenteich was a great hotel to stay at.”
The two ladies at reception and at the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcome. The hotel was close to everything we wanted to see and our room was clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

“Superb”
I checked in late when no one was at the reception, but when I called the number indicated, they helped me on how to open the main door with a code and this really touched me. The room is very spacious and clean. Also the breakfast was awesome

Hotel arranged two rooms (with one entrance) for my family members, security is good, rooms are clean, view is good, we all feel relax and comfortable, the location is near shopping mall and very convenient.

“Solo traveler gives two thumbs up.”
It was barely a 10 minute walk from the Wittenberg Alt Stadt station. The hotel is mere blocks from the Stadtskirche and Alte Ratshausplazt. It is walkable to all the major sites from the hotel. Staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The single room was very clean and the Wi-Fi worked well. It had a beautiful view of the old town church towers. Breakfast had both hot and cold offerings and of course freshly baked warm Brotchen (like small baguettes) coffee, tea, juice. I would recommend Hotel Pension Schwanenteich to solo travelers who don't mind carrying luggage from public transportation.
