Beautiful, well presented property. All the decor was gorgeous and well thought out. It catered for every need. From the gift basket on arrival to the fresh eggs. The washing machine was so handy. It had everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We will be recommending to friends and family.

The area around La Brenne is very rural and quiet, this property is located within a village, La Villatte, and it is well worth the trip on winding country roads. I can highly recommend it to families, friends traveling together. it was a way station on our way to Gers and southern France. The hostess is very friendly and welcoming and keen to ensure that our stay was pleasurable. The village and the property is probably a 30 minutes drive from main roads so plan for this - but again a very nice stay. There are superb restaurants within a 20-minute drive.

We appreciated the immediate ‘feel home from home’ hospitality of the hosts Donna and Mark & the surprise breakfast basket with croissants, juice, milk, … and enjoyed very much the comfortable beds in the rooms and the showers in the ensuite bathroom’s.

Donna and Mark are really friendly and helpful. the gite is well equipped, cosy and comfortable. we stayed for 5 nights and explored the local towns and beautiful lakes and countryside. it’s a very peaceful spot and if you like star gazing then it’s a perfect place! we will be recommending to our friends and family for sure.

A pleasant surprise! There was a breakfast made ready for us without any charge. This was a real bonus while it was not included in the price. Donna and Mark are really nice people who make yoo feel at home, are helpful and informative to make you feel comfortable. The gite is located on the outskirt of a typical small French village, stopped in time. Picturesque setting.

Everything was extremely clean and tidy and the entire property is very neat with a lovely rural tranquility. Our hosts were fantastic and the attention to detail was outstanding. The effort they put in to ensuring that their guests have an easy going relaxing stay is highly appreciated. We plan to stay again on our next visit to the area and cannot recommend them highly enough, our expectations were met and exceeded in all areas and our lovely hosts were extremely warm and relaxed and totally accommodating in all respects.
