“The best homestay in Lushoto”
this place is located in a beautiful area of Lushoto. the view is amazing from the terrace. when I arrived I told the owner that I needed a harder matress because of my back problems and he immediately arranged for me to sleep in another apartment with a harder mattress. He was kind the whole time I was there. he speaks perfect english. Plus there is free water refillment and Rita the housekeeper is so sweet and prepares a delicious breakfast. the morning I left I had to catch my bus at 7 she woke up earlier just to prepare my breakfast. awesome stay

The apartment was super nice and the host was very friendly. He helped us a lot with the hiking tour, which was very well organized and beautiful! I just can recommend this accommodation and to hike in lushoto! We had a great time!

“Reasonable choice in Lushoto”
Noise is a problem at many accommodation places in Lushoto - in particular, noise from bars. Lushoto Views Cottage was mercifully free from this. However, it does suffer from a degree of road noise. If you are a sensitive sleeper, you will require ear plugs. The hosts are very kind and very accommodating. The gentleman (he will excuse me that I do not recall his name) speaks English fluently and is interesting to talk to across a range of topics. The breakfast was excellent. The bed has a good mosquito net - necessary as Lushoto has many mosquitoes. The hosts graciously allow access to their kitchen. Free drinking water is provided through a dispenser that dispenses both hot and cold water. The apartment is reasonably large and has a pleasant balcony overlooking Lushoto.

Highly recommended! Perfectly located, quiet and with a terrific view and turbo fast wifi. The hosts are also very kind, friendly and happy to help with any local activities etc. Definitely the best place to stay in Lushoto (much better than the more expensive and noisy Lawns Hotel) 🙂

Great, spacious and home-like apartment with a charming balcony with a view on the mountains. Welcoming and flexible host - he prepared a proportion of rice and very early breakfast on our request. In addition, he helped us to buy bus tickets. Highly recommended!!

“Great place. Would recommend”
We had the 4 person room, with one double bed one single bed and a sofa bed. We all slept very well and the balcony was amazing with a good view over the mountain. The breakfast was delicious and so was the dinner we had one of the days. The host was amazing (probably the best we have tried). The host was very friendly and helped us with arranging tours and also advice for our further travel through Tanzania. I can really recommend this place for other travellers. You get a lot of value for the money and a very nice and friendly host. Would definitely stay there again if we come back to Lushoto. GREAT experience!

“Relaxing stay surrounded by the Usambara Mountains”
Mickfanaka is a caring host and we enjoyed our first stay in Lushoto a lot. He helped us to find the perfect tour to discover the most beautiful places in and around Lushoto. The Apartment was clean and we enjoyed our breakfast on the balcony with view over Lushoto. We will come again ☺️
