Overview
Located 20 km from Lusaka, Lilayi Lodge is set in a private game reserve. It offers and outdoor pool, game drives, nature walks, horse safaris and village tours. The spacious rooms all come with elegant decor and four-poster beds. They also include a terrace, a seating area and satellite TV. Each private bathroom has a hairdryer, toiletries in bathroom are not free. Guests can enjoy African fusion and contemporary cuisine at the restaurant, which also includes a wine cellar, with Wine Tasting and food pairing lodge activities. Lilayi Lodge also offers The Lilayi Wine Tasting Experience where guests can taste five of Lilayi Lodges very own wine label: Lilayi Wine, paired with five food tastings. The resort is 35 minutes' drive from Manda Hill Shoppinga and a 1-hour drive from Kalimba Reptile Park-Crocodile Farm. Lusaka's Kenneth Kaunda International Airport is situated 40 km away.

“Fabulous relaxing stay in sub-urban game reserve”
Great position in its own 6.5km2 game reserve, well marked trails and nice sunset game drive. Some fabulous giraffes Food in restaurant very good. Really interesting tasting of their own label wines. Room was large, quiet and great views of passing warthogs and antelope. Staff, including GM Scott were really interesting, interested and helpful. Well organised airport transfers

“Fantastic stay!”
It was a fantastic stay! Place was wonderful! Staff was super accommodating and helpful. Food was really good and chef was super flexible to adjust to a dietary requirements! All in all a wonderful place and we looking back to come again!

The breakfast was very good. Anything we needed was provided. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The dinner was excellent also. There were very tasty vegetarian options. Seeing the animals when we were dining was a treat.

“Neat and cosy place with good walks that are not crowdy.”
Staff paying attention. Nice walks around the private property, up to 10 km. Nice chalet, well equipped. Very good foof. Used to safaris, I was not really looking for a game drive, just a sunset drive: however, I hugely appreciated my driver (Sonet) and well as the game that we could see (not always visble in other big parks in SA, or in other countries). Sonet did know a lot of very interesting things of which a bit about insects (I am an enthomologist). I will come back with my wife next time.
