Fabulous location near to NS famous sites with stunning views of the Atlantic. Staff were friendly and cottage was squeaky clean.

Good location a little out of town. The cabin was comfortable containing all one needed.

The property was very well maintained and clean, it had very good facilities for self-catering. We had a wonderful view from our property across the bay to the front and over the lake to the back. We were grateful for the kindness and friendliness of the staff, especially Mary who we had a great laugh with. All the staff were very hardworking and helpful.

The size of the suite was good, the rooms were clean. The location was great as it was within mins of Lunenberg. Gave a great veiw of the bay. It was quiet and relaxing.

A lovely quiet retreat with a great view, (when it wasn't foggy or raining) 😀. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beds comfortable and everything was clean and quiet. Just what we needed.

We enjoyed our time there. Close drive to everywhere you wished to sea. Ocean for sightseeing across the roadway .

“A great place to stay while visiting Lunenburg.”

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Atlantic View Motel very much. We had booked a standard suite in the motel section, but when we arrived, the owner said that there was a cancellation for one of the cabins if we would like that. It was great. We stayed in the Lily Pond Cabin which is the largest one. The living area had a comfortable sofa, a table and chairs and a fully equipped kitchen area. There was a separate bedroom with 2 comfortable beds. Outside on the porch were 2 chairs to sit and relax. The motel is across the road from Masons Beach and the motel has a bench there where you can sit and enjoy the view and the sound of the water. The beach was really nice, but the water was very cold in the middle of June. It's a very short drive from the motel into Lunenburg. So, unless you want to be right in the town, the location is very good. You can easily drive to town for lunch or dinner, or prepare your own food in your kitchen. If we return to Lunenburg, we would definitely stay here again.

The couple that own this property were lovely. :) Made us feel very welcome. The view was stunning 😍 and it has a private beach. Loved the colors of the motel and cottages. The area was so quiet and the beds super comfy so we had a great night's sleep! 😌 Nice that there is a big communal fire pit that you can use.

The cottages were so sweet and cozy! After having a glass of wine on the porch, we took a walk on the beach, it was beautiful!

The motel is easy to find in a good location with water visible in front and lake behind. The small cottage is attractively presented in terms of the exterior and interior decor. We could walk out from the property along a quiet road.

The rooms were nice, spacious, and comfortable. There was a nice view of the bay across the street and a river behind the hotel. The bathrooms were small but clean and had all you needed. It was a nice quiet location and even had deer running through the front yard.
