We stayed at Hotel Concordia during our visit to Lund and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located within a comfortable 10-minute walk from Lund Central Station, making it practical for travellers arriving by train. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Breakfast offered a good spread and was enjoyable. The hotel itself has a charming traditional atmosphere with historical character, and the room décor reflected this nicely. Bedding was warm and very comfortable, which helped us rest well after long days of travelling. One challenge, however, was the room size. The first room allocated to us was extremely compact and difficult to manage with luggage, although the front desk kindly assisted us in changing to a slightly larger room. Even then, space remained limited compared with modern hotel standards. Our replacement room was located on the first floor facing the main street and above the hotel’s Italian restaurant. Fortunately, the restaurant was not operating during our stay, but privacy and noise could potentially become concerns depending on room location. The bathroom was comfortable, with both wall heating and heated flooring, reasonable water pressure and good lighting. WiFi was also stable throughout our stay. Overall, Hotel Concordia offers historical charm, friendly service and a good location, although travellers who prefer larger and more modern rooms may wish to explore some of the newer accommodation options available in Lund.

The breakfast was excellent. There was a lovely selection of hot and cold food with a variety of fresh bread. Granola/ yoghurts were also provided.
