Overview
A classic in Luganville since 1975, Hotel Santo Vanuatu is a family-run hotel with a relaxed retro feel, and casual and unpretentious island service. It is a step back into the retro 70s Offering a swimming pool, a restaurant and a bar, the 2-storey Hotel Santo Vanuatu Luganville is in the middle of Luganville town, surrounded by the shops and businesses. Centrally located for guests to experience world-renowned Espiritu Santo beaches and diving spots, the hotel is 10 minutes’ drive from the airport. We do not offer airport transfers because the taxis offer a flat 1000vt fee from the airport to the hotel. The rooms: Each room offers sea or pool views or direct access to the gardens or pool area. A refrigerator, tea/coffee making facilities and a private bathroom are standard in all rooms. All rooms offer a patio or balcony. You can relax by the pool surrounded by tropical gardens or enjoy an evening champagne from the bar. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Bar and restaurant: we serve simple tropical food, not fancy, just tasty. As a bonus, from Monday to Saturday, we serve a light tropical breakfast with local Santo Coffee, Fresh Fruit and Toast and jam. IMPORTANT: OPENING HOURS OF RECEPTION, BAR & RESTAURANT. - Monday-Friday: open from 7am to 8pm. - Saturday: open from 7am to 11am. Open from 4pm to 8pm. - Sunday: open from 7am to 11am only. Do advise for arrivals after that time. A security guard is onsite at night. A 4% surcharge for payments by credit cards will be applied by the bank.

They went above and beyond to assist me with a flight issue and even provided an extra towel for the Millennium Cave tour, which I truly appreciated. The entrance, reception, lounge, bar, and dining room are adorned with fabulous relics and charming décor, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere. The property boasts a beautiful garden and a tranquil swimming pool at the rear, ideal for relaxation.

“hotel is adequate, i had a disappointing experience in managing my booking.”
location was great, facilities were fine and staff were friendly enough. The hotel manager disappointed me by being unwilling to deal with or even view two messages i had sent a week or more in advance of arrival (and could show them) asking to shorten my stay as my flight was delayed a day by the airline. I felt they just wanted the full booking, pretended they hadn't received the e-mails and wanted me to just pay and then go away.
