Ashley, Stacey, and the entire team were incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. The location is excellent and conveniently positioned for visiting Santo’s attractions, including the famous Riri Blue Hole and Matavulu Blue Hole, while also being close enough to town. Our room was beautifully designed and built, making it a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious. Their pizzas are well known among the locals—our local tour guide specifically recommended them to us, and they certainly lived up to their reputation. The live lobster and coconut crab were sooo yummy—a must-try for any foodies like us—and among the best meals we had during our trip. Having breakfast, lunch, and dinner right in front of the ocean each day made every mealtime a special treat. Stacey is incredibly sweet, thoughtful, and caring. Every member of the team made us feel welcome. We especially enjoyed chatting with Yvana, Donisha, Barry, Lyn, and Rolin (apologies if I have misspelled anyone’s name). They were all friendly, professional, personable, and genuinely caring and happy people. During our stay, we were fortunate to be there during a high-level banquet that featured a traditional Santo firework dancing performance. It was spectacular. With the moon overhead, trees swaying in the background, and the ocean as a backdrop, it became one of the most memorable evenings of our trip. Ashley is an inspiring entrepreneur and builder with strong local connections and extensive knowledge of the island. He was able to help arrange excellent local tours and experiences for us. What stood out most to me, however, was the way he treated every guest with equal care, respect, and attention. Even during the banquet, when both he and Stacey were extremely busy preparing and hosting the event, they still took the time to speak with their local contacts and help organise tours for us.

Extremely relaxing

The hosts Ash and Stacey were lovely hard working people - thoroughly enjoyed talking to them and already looking forward to our next stay with them. We were in Vanuatu for 10 days or so but this was the highlight of our whole trip. An experience I’ll remember forever.

Our stay at Bombua was wonderful. Stacey and Ashley were the best hosts we could have asked for, they went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time in Santo; helping organise day trips and transfers. The beach houses were absolutely beautiful and so comfortable and the restaurant attached had some of the best food we tried in Vanuatu. Especially the seafood platter!

We stayed at Bombua Beach House for 9 days in the Garden View Villa with a private pool, and it was such a beautiful, relaxing experience. The villa itself was really lovely - cute, modern, thoughtfully designed, and very generously air-conditioned which we especially appreciated on hot days. It was surrounded by lush greenery, which made it very peaceful and enjoyable to spend time there, especially lounging by the pool. It felt private, calm, and perfect for switching off completely. Ash and Stacy were great hosts - genuinely welcoming, caring, and always happy to help. You could really feel how much they care about their guests having a great stay. For the entire duration of our stay we ate at the Bombua Beach Restaurant, which was excellent. The menu - breakfast, lunch and dinner - had a great variety of delicious food and drinks, and everything we tried was fantastic. As someone with coeliac (gluten-free) requirements, we felt especially well looked after - the team were attentive and very careful with details to make sure everything was safe and enjoyable. Overall, Bombua Beach House is great place - peaceful, beautifully run, and full of heart. We’d highly recommend it and would love to return one day!

“A relaxing and quiet stay.”

Everything about our stay was great! Stacey and Ash went above and beyond for us during this stay and made us feel like guests in their home. They were great to chat with and cooked some of the best meals we had during our stay in Vanuatu. The bungalow was beautiful and a really nice touch having a private pool. Bed was super comfy, kitchen was tidy, nice living space. The massages are also a great price and super relaxing having it in your room. Stacey set us up with a company to do the Millenium Cave Tour - 10/10 recommend!

“A warm welcome, private villa and truly exceptional stay”

Ash and Stracey were absolutely fantastic hosts, they were always offering advice on how to maximise our stay in Santo, and shared great conversation over dinner. The villas were beautifully designed, spacious and private, and the beds were luxuriously comfortable. I wish I could teleport this villa back home to live in! The private plunge pool was a lovely bonus at the end of a hot day. The restaurant they run next to villas also served up the best food we had in our whole trip in Vanuatu for dinner, and the breakfasts in front of the ocean were hearty and filling, readying us for the day. Can't speak highly enough of our stay, especially if you're looking for something a little more private and intimate when compared to the surrounding resort options.

The host Stacey and Ashley were amazing and really carrying ! Plus, the Villa was really comfy and cosy. The restaurant offers lots of choices and the meals are delicious.

“Relaxing in your own private paradise”

Stacey and Ashley were amazing hosts. Stacey was very fast to reply to any emails I sent and answered my questions fully. The accommodation itself was just as pictured, it was very cleverly set out with all the amenities and more that you could need including a full kitchen, wardrobe/dressing area with plenty of space for suitcases and your clothing. The bed was super comfortable and made for a good nights sleep. The private pool was a perfect size to stand up comfortably in and keep cool in the water at the same time. The gardens surrounding it were beautiful and I felt like I was in my own private paradise each day. I spent my days moving from of the giant sunbeds to the pool to the other giant sunbed. I could not have asked for a more perfect private paradise to relax. Stacey and Ashley have a restaurant on site, Stacey will make your breakfast to order and two local ladies work the restaurant at lunch and dinner. All the ladies were super accommodating, the food was of good portions sizes and the cocktails were made to perfection. The restaurant looks out onto the beach, where you can watch the dolphins in the water! Ashley is a builder and he built the restaurant as well as the accommodation, he also cooks/prepares food in the restaurant. It was very interesting to talk to Stacey and Ashley, they have lived on the island for several years and it was great to hear all about their lives there and what it is like living in Vanuatu. The accommodation is a short drive in and out of town, Stacey kindly gave me a lift one day and it was easy to catch a taxi back home when I was finished shopping. Ashley and Stacey have a trusted taxi driver that can take you on day trips around the island, they are also knowledgeable about the different activities you can do during your stay.

Fantastic accommodations, great food.Quiet and relaxing.Close to town

My week stay at Bombua was exactly what I imagined . The detail put into everything of this villa is a home away from home in a very luxurious way, from the king bed, soft quality bedding, bathtub of my dreams that you can adjust the tv to view from & stream your favourite show, to breakfast on the deck & complete privacy by the pool, my week stay was dreamy. The pool , the day bed & the hanging egg chairs were all very comfortable. I didn’t leave this villa for 2 days when I first got in, I was very comfortable reading books in the sun. The sunrises are phenomenal out the front. The local fish from the restaurant was delicious, be sure to order the margaritas too. The restaurant has been constructed very very well, the furniture very comfortable to enjoy a long lunch, not to mention the view. Ash & Stacey were wonderful hosts, they both made me feel like family. Ashley recommended a day trip to Ratua Island which was a pinch me is this real kind of day. Ash phone Leah & it was all organised. Very easy. If you feeling adventurous & up for some exercise I recommend walking g the rd & heading north to swim at the bay. Bombua was everything I’d dreamt of in a holiday, exactly what I needed. Thank you Ash & Stace 🩵.

Our stay at the Bombua Beach House was incredible—so much so that we extended it! Our bungalow was designed to give maximum privacy, with a kitchen and a private pool outside. They also have a great restaurant with delicious meals and cocktails. We really enjoyed talking to Ash and Stacey, who can arrange any trip for you or give you the right contacts. The hotel’s location is great—it’s close to town and not too far from the attractions in the north. We also went snorkeling right in front of the restaurant, and the reef was really nice.

Bombua Beach House is a true tropical oasis! The hosts were generous and welcoming, giving us local tips, organising taxis and island tours, and catering to our every need, which enhanced the enjoyment of our stay. The dinner cooked by the private chef was also delicious. The villa itself was incredibly private. It had the perfect plunge pool, a spacious kitchen, unbelievably comfortable beds and really fast, reliable internet. There are spectacular beaches nearby which are great for snorkelling and swimming, as well as local markets and buses/taxis that can take you into town. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough - will definitely be returning!
