“Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this accommodation. Possible scam alert.”
The location and room were fine, but cleanliness was lacking (hair on the floor, poorly cleaned). The key handover was also unclear, as the apartment actually belongs to Lugano Guest House, something not mentioned in the listing. The biggest issue: They charged a 250 CHF deposit and kept 50 CHF after checkout for supposedly “stained and ripped bedsheets.” Despite multiple requests, they could not provide any photos, clearer information or proof. Since we stayed only ONE NIGHT and used the bed purely for sleeping, this claim seems highly unlikely. Communication was also frustrating. Daily feedback requests, yet no replies to important messages. Only after I mentioned contacting Booking.com and calling it possible of scamming, did they respond. Overall, Lugano Guest House felt unreliable and potentially dishonest. Book with caution!

“Nice studio apartment with balcony and view onto garden, neighborhood and a little lake”
A very nice, well-equipped studio apartment, with a lovely balcony with view onto a garden with trees, and the neighboring buildings with a bit of lake. Key pickup and drop-off was flawless, with generous hours. Nearby, there is a bus stop for easy travel to/from the train station and town center, as well as a grocery store (Migros).

“Pretty smaller apartment with fantastic views!”
The apartment was a good size and nicely decorated with an amazing view from the balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the location was quiet. The ladies at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. We were only there for one night and had everything that we needed.

“Overall a nice stay just a real shame how it started”
Lovely modern clean apartment. Very comfortable bed, nice large bathroom and balcony with a small distant view of the lake. If it wasn’t for the misrepresentation on parking I would rate 9/10
