Housed in a historic building, Hotel Zurigo is located in the centre of Lugano right opposite the Lugano Centro Bus Stop and offers you en-suite rooms with free Wi-Fi and minibar. Location. Immediately opposite main bus station, about 7 minutes' walk to the funicular taking us to the station. Breakfast was included.

It's very close to the Convention Centre and Villa Ciani -- ideal for the Plan B conference. The lake is also just a 5 minute walk away.

“Delightful hotel in the perfect location”
You cannot fault the location - so close to the bus station, and a short walk to cafes and shops, and of course to the lake. And yet, being so close to everything it was also very quiet. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the breakfast had many options and we always got a table, even though we were in Lugano during the Swiss National Day long weekend (a happy accident)! The beds were comfortable and there were different pillows to choose from. The shower was good, and the included toiletries were a shampoo/body wash and a conditioner. We stayed in the suite and there was an additional sink in the bedroom. Air conditioning was only in the front room, it the bedroom, but it flowed into the bedroom so that was fine. We hadn’t stayed in a 3-star for several years and we were blown away by how lovely the whole stay was!
