The staff of the Guesthouse is fantastic! I had an extraordinary request for early check-in due to working-related video calls and they made it happen 3 hours prior to the usual check-in hours. The location is great, 15-20 min walk to the city center. Moreover, they offer Ticino tickets within the price - free public transport within the Ticino region for the duration of your stay (plus discounts for cable cars and boats.)

“Good value for money in Lugano”
The staff is very welcoming and eager to explain you everything you need to know. The location is enough central and close to the lake. Finally, being traveling with the bike, it has been very appreciated having a bike garage.

“Cheap accommodation in an expensive city.”
Lugano is a very expensive city. We booked a very cheap room. We got what we paid for. It served our needs but didn't wow us. We knew we'd be a little out of town for our budget so didn't mind, and the Ticino card that was provided meant we could use the busses for free so getting there was no issue.
