Hotel Lucia is located in the historic building in the Old Town of Ludza, the oldest town of Latvia. Free Wi-Fi is available in every room. The city is surrounded by four lakes. It takes 2 minutes to walk from Lucia to the nearest one. There is a mini market nearby.

“Good cultural experience and value for money hotel”
A perfect place to experience culture a bit different from the rest of Latvia with really friendly people and hotel reminding of a Soviet time county centre rooms looking like dormitory from a bygone era. Great value for money with all the necessary in place and really good restaurant at the basement.

“Nice place to stay in Ludza”
A nice hotel in the very centre of the city of Ludza. So, the location can be considered as superb. Moreover, there was a beautiful view of a church from a hotel window which was very close to the hotel. The staff of the hotel is very friendly, ready to help at every moment. There is a very good restaurant at the hotel. In fact, it is the only restaurant in the city, but the quality of meals and service is good. The breakfast was very nourishing and tasty with variety of different dishes you can order while visiting. A parking is available in front of the hotel. There are ruins of the medieval castle not far from the hotel and two beautiful lakes. By the way, Ludza is the oldest city of Latvia.

We'd booked the room just an hour before arrival, but when we came to the hotel we were informed that this was a booking mistake about availability. In fact all rooms of this type have been busy already. Nevertheless the lady on reception provided a free Lux room for us for the same money, that was really great. Good location for the hotel, almost in the city center. Lots of parking places just in front of the main entry.

“Great place”
Super nice location and very friendly staff. The view from the windows was very nice. We were were allowed to take our dog with us with a small fee. The rooms were spacious and very clean.

“Cozy hotel with a kind staff, delicious breakfast and close to a pharmacy, pizzaria and supermarkets”
The staff is very kind and helpful, and the breakfast served in the cellar is very good but definitely not for vegetarians/vegans. The location of the hotel is also great, if you enjoy some quiet time in a town full of helpful people. You can even find some excellent pizzas in the city, and should you need it, the pharmacy is only a few meters away from the hotel. Overall, this is the perfect place, if you're just passing through and need a comfortable place to stay, or if you would like to see a small but beautiful city. Even the nearby park is taken care of, and my visit included the smell of freshly cut grass.
