Great location out on shark island. Nice views from the rooms. Friendly people throughout. I could even get a relaxing massage after more than a week on the motor bike.

Wonderful stay at Island Cottage Lüderitz! A lovely little guesthouse located on the famous Shark Island, full of charm and designed with a lot of love and attention to detail. The rooms were very nice and comfortable, and we were lucky to get the beautiful room upstairs with an amazing view for both sunrise and sunset. Waking up and ending the day with those views was truly special. One of the best things about the location is that the lighthouse sunset spot is only about a 3-minute walk away — perfect for an evening stroll and a relaxing sundowner while enjoying the incredible coastal scenery. The guesthouse is also very conveniently located. The drive to restaurants at the harbour, including the great Portuguese fish restaurant, as well as the gas station and Spar supermarket, takes only a few minutes. Overall, it’s a perfect place to spend a couple of days in Lüderitz and explore the beautiful coastline and surrounding area. Cozy atmosphere, great location, and very welcoming hosts — we really enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful overnight stay at the self-catering chalets. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with such a friendly reception, which immediately made us feel at home. The personal touch from the owner, including the thoughtful note and delicious goodies left for us, was truly appreciated and made our stay extra special. I would happily recommend this place to family and friends.

The bed was great and the neighbourhood is very quiet. Also the little bar/tablecwith two stools was nice, so you don’t have to sit on the bed.

The property is located in Shark Island. It’s quiet and safe but only a short walk from the centre of Luderitz. The interiors were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The room came with a small kitchen area where you could prepare simple meals. It also had a balcony which overlooked the sea which was delightful
