We booked a one night stay on the way from Lisbon to France . And what a stay it was ! Prior to our arrival we already felt welcomed, thank you for checking in on us 🙏 We were checked in by the owner , who showed us kindly her amazingly beautiful property . The dinner was delicious and the entire team very professional and kind . Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic , what a treat ! Thank you for sharing your home , kindness and creativity !

The property looked magnificent from the outside and the welcome inside matched it. Noelia was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her. A real credit to the hotel. The property itself was a sea of calmness, tastefully furnished but also extremely practical. Dinner and breakfast were both absolutely delicious and served in such a relaxed manner. They are also very dog friendly which only added to our enjoyment.

We loved everything about Palacio de Luko. We stayed on the top floor with a velux window in the roof. For the benefit of future guests the windows are motorised with switches on the wall (it took us a while to work this out!)

This is a wonderful luxurious hotel, stylishly decorated and full of history. The breakfast was exceptional. The staff were fantastic allowing our small dog to wander free in the property! Our room was spacious as was the en-suite shower room- both were extremely cosy Some lovely country walks right on the doorstep too if you wanted to stay longer

Wow!!!! what a place to stay, the attention to detail is amazing. The decor, furniture and paintings make it a truly memorable place❤️❤️ As soon as you walk up to the property it is stunning and then you walk inside it smells beautiful, it’s warm, welcoming and just perfect in every way. When we arrived we asked if there was a bath available and they were very accommodating in upgrade us to the suite which had a lovely bath in the room, just what I needed. (Extra cost but so worth it) This place has a lovely vibe and we felt very relaxed and was sad to leave after 1 night stay. Breakfast was a true dining experience being served a variety of fresh produce in fine China. We were so well looked after by the host.

We arrived late at night and they were extremely helpful in allowing us to check in later than normal. Sadly we had to leave early the next morning so didn’t really have the opportunity to take full advantage of the Hotel. The Hotel is stunningly beautiful. The owners have exceptional taste and the mix of contemporary with beautiful antiques compliments the Hotel beautifully. The Hotel is exceptional and we can’t rate it high enough. Rooms are spacious and well specked. The shower was great with good pressure and toiletries were of a high standard. The Hotel smelled lovely and whilst short we had an amazing stay and the bed was extremely comfortable which is very rare these days. The owner was on hand and extremely friendly. A truly special place with a lovely homely feel.

“Amazing property outside of Vitoria”

I have visited over 100 countries and stayed at countless hotels and Airbnbs. This property quite possibly was the best place I have ever slept in. It is awesome if you are looking for a romantic retreat. The interior decoration is simply fantastic---world class. We were awestruck by the furnishings, design, the wood beams, the paintings, the attention to detail, everything. The two women we interacted with at reception were very engaged and extremely intelligent. You can also go for short strolls to villages nearby in a rural area.

It is a fabulous hotel. We were greeted with such warmth by the owners who explained the history of the hotel. For us it was in an ideal location on our travel from Portugal to the UK with our dog, who was also made to feel very welcome ( he even got a plate of ham for breakfast!). It is very luxurious and excelled our expectations! The only slight disappointment, and it was only slight as we always travel with our own, was the lack of coffee or tea making facilities in the room. Even without this I would not hesitate to stay here again!
