My friend and I had the most wonderful experience staying at Francesca and Filippo’s charming guesthouse. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel incredibly welcome – their kindness, gentleness, and warm hospitality were beyond anything we expected. The house and garden are simply stunning, with a breathtaking view over the Tuscan countryside. Every corner is beautifully decorated with a personal touch that makes the place feel both unique and full of character. Breakfast was an absolute delight – all homemade and truly the best we’ve ever had in a B\&B. Every morning felt like a special treat. We are also so grateful for their thoughtful recommendations and local tips, which allowed us to discover amazing restaurants and hidden gems in the area. We stayed at Casa Montalgallo at the end of our journey in Tuscany, and it was the perfect end to our trip since our hosts (Filippo and Francesca) made extensive efforts to accommodate us. The breakfast is rather an experience, according to the way they present and serve it. The room and bathroom were very clean.

Franceska and Filippo were the best hosts we experienced during our trip. We feel unlucky about not having more time to share with them. She took us when we arrived at the bus station and gave a lift in the morning to the train station. Since our train was early in the morning she prepared and packed our breakfast so that we could have a great breakfast while travelling. Hope to see them again.

Everything- location, house and decorations, the food and especially the hosts. It is a great location, very nicely decorated with a great tuscan view from the beautiful garden. The breakfast was amazing in a very cosy atmosphere. Francesca and Filippo are amazing hosts, they made us feel very comfortable and welcome. When traveling with a dog it is mostly difficult to get accepted, but here it was not the case, quite the opposite I would say, our dog was more than welcome and received even a small welcome treat. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. Thank you both for the great experience. Till next time.

“A gem of a place in a gem of a town!”

Casa Montalgallo is just outside of Lucignano, a beautiful medieval town. Both Francesca and Filippo came to greet me personally, offered me a welcome drink and did everything to make my stay memorable. In the evening they allowed me to go with them and their family to celebrate the Maggiolata. The room has a nice surprise when you come in and a great view over the valley. Best stay so far in Italy!

Casa Montalgallo and its hosts are amazing, wonderful, and gorgeous! I loved this place and mostly the Host, you guys are great! Every minor detail was considered to make the guest's life comfortable, and the design style of the house amazed me, it made our stay more colorful, Francesca you have good taste, thank you for that! Aaand now the turn of the Breakfast and cappuccino! I'm thrilled by the breakfast and the cappuccino that made Filippo, it was the best one in my entire life, looking forward to trying it again! If you are going to visit the Lucignano, and want to see real Italians, this option is the best one, you would like it! Totally recommend!

I must say this is the perfect place for holidays. I travel a lot and this accomodation is by far the best. Thank you for perfect breakfast and atmosphere.

100% to recommend. An unforgetable experience, outstanding. Francesca and Fillipo made us feel incredibly, it was simply wonderful. To start, the location is fantastic, few minutes away from the town on foot, with very beautiful views, to get relax and rest. To continue, the cleanliness and the decoration, 11 points over 10. To finalize, the breakfast. How to describe it? It going to be a bit difficult to do it though some words. You must go and live it by yourself. Everything was home made! The mix among flavours, variety, aromas and abundance, was a party different in every morning. Both sweety and solty food, everything was exceptional. Imagine that, together with a table set with all the details you need to want to be seated there for the entire morning. Francesca and Fillipo, thanks a million! We will recommend you to all our friends, and we will not hesitate in visiting you, whenever we had another chance to go to Toscana. See you soon!
