The staff friendly

Good comfortable big room , free coffe and tea whole day. In the middle of center close mehkong river 50meters and nightmarket 250meter. It was the best hotel we stayed in our 1 week trip across Laos. Mayor pus for the staff the guy's at reception are really friendly and helpfull. Despite some negative reviews on google from the past >7 yrs ago. Hotel switched owner since then.

“Great location, functional room that could do with a clean.”

The location couldn't have been better. It was right on the river (just up a little side street) and very close to the night Market. The area around the property was well- lit so we found it easy to navigate in the dark. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. The man at reception booked us a private transfer to the waterfalls, as we wanted to leave earlier than the first tour allowed. He also booked us a taxi to the airport and we were able to leave our luggage after check out.

The location was good. Really close to the night market. The staff were really friendly. They recognized me and always smiled and said hello everytime and went by

Charming hotel with a period look, the staff were helpful and courteous. Good value for money, easy walking distance to the main street and the river. I would stay gain.

“Okay but could have been so much better”

This place was okay and well located near the centre of the town and close to the Mekong river. The room I had was small but the bed was comfortable enough. The biggest problem for me was the tiny safety deposit box which was not bolted down and therefore was "portable". This meant I had to carry my valuables with me wherever I went, which became tiresome with the weight of a small laptop, which I needed to have with me for work purposes. The staff were very helpful though and tried their best to make something better than it was. The room could do with a makeover and the bathroom was basic to say the least. Breakfasts were okay but nothing special. The overall experience was okay but could have been so much better. At £50 a night it was expensive. I moved to another hotel afterwards which was nearby and was better and 20% cheaper.

It would be just great, staff was so helpful to even get me some medicine when I was too sick to go out, but before our planned of check out we were informed that there was an overbooking and we out of a sudden needed to find another acommodation and move there. It was announced to us during breakfast, only two hours before check out hours while I was still being extremely sick. This was really dissapointing, especially because our stay would just be great otherwise.

Love the location. Within walking distance to many attractions - temples, night market, day market, river shore, start point for river cruise, good eating places, etc. Very strategic location. The breakfast was decent. Love the fact that you can get freshly squeezed orange juice every morning for your breakfast. Hotel comes with hot water shower (good water pressure), because during my trip, the days were quite cool. You really need hot shower in the evening. Room size of decent size. Considered spacious as you have 2-seater sofa and coffee table in the room to relax.

the location was good for the purpose of my stay, it’s in the middle of everything the beds and pillows were good, most staff very helpful and sweet

Breakfast was fantastic and made to order every morning. Staff were really attentive and always there to help. Location amazing, such a beautiful little street!

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful, helped with booking train tickets and a trip to see a nearby waterfall. The location was great, a five minute walk to the night market but on a side street so there wasn’t too much noise from the street. The breakfast was simple but nice.

“Cozy traditional rooms with great service”

The hotel building felt both traditional and cozy made of dark wood, the breakfast was very good and the staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to help us pay for train tickets.

The location was the only thing good there.
