“A Beautiful Little Property Overlooking the Nam Khan River”
What a gem of a place in a small city filled with so many beautiful buildings. The shuttered windows on all the guest rooms, the gorgeous balcony for all the second-floor rooms, the lushness of the small but intimate garden all make this boutique guesthouse a pleasure to stay at.

“Perfect stay!”
We had a perfect stay at the Villa Namkhan, the room was huge, the bed was super comfortable and the staff were so attentive. They helped with booking trains and were always on hand if we had questions. The location is walking distance to everything so you can just relax and enjoy Luang Prabang.

“Wonderful stay. Would come again!”
Staff were lovely, they upgraded our room for our whole stay and gave us breakfast for free. They help to sort a motorbike too, maybe more pricey than other places but they bring the bikes inside at night to ensure they’re safe. Rooms were big and clean and lovely hot water in the shower. Location was 5-10 minute walk from the main strip and very peaceful by the river.

The owner was friendly and genuine. She was always willing the help us book our tours and taxi ect. The rooms were big! Nice and clean. The balcony was so pretty to sit and wind down. Breakfast was tasty and I recommend the omelet.

“Perfect location for central Luang Prabang historical town.”
It was lovely and calm with river view. To the main street it is just 3min walking. Just round the corner are two very good French restaurants for amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner and drinks. Also all central tourist spots are in walking distance. Staff is friendly and helpful. A scooter and motor bike rental is next door. All in all, a perfect location.

It’s a new accommodation, still being renovated, so it’s like a trial run during my stay. My room is spacious with high ceiling and balcony. The host is a very nice lady, very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent, along riverside, very close to morning alms and main attractions, and lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

“Not a quiet place”
I won't comment much here on how woefully incompetent the staff are when it comes to managing a small hotel. Instead, I'll comment on how the location is not really quiet. It seems like it would be great: it's off the main street in the old town, beside the smaller river. But the river location is the problem: just opposite the accommodation is a popular picnic area where people like to entertain themselves with music and open-air karaoke at night.

“Clean, comfortable, good location and personal touch”
We stayed at this hotel for 6 days and it was the perfect spot for our time in Luang Prabang. The location is perfect in the old town and with views of the Namkhan river. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are nice and seem newly renovated. The breakfast is great and they can cater to vegetarians. The hotel seems to be pretty new and they are still working out some of their operations, but the staff are really nice and Quynh (the owner) is amazing! She really went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. Thank you so much Quynh and team, we would love to come back one day!
