Really nice that it has a pool out in the sun, and a little cafe/ restaurant to order food and drink. The bed was very comfy! (I was in the mixed 8 bed dorm)

With a bit more cleaning and attention to detail this could be an awesome hostel.

Great sociability, good swimming pool and pool table, good atmosphere

Great location, very social, had a nice pool with a pool bar serving lots of foods and drinks all day. Staff were very helpful booking us day activities and transport to the next place. Rooms were a little tight squeeze but manageable

“Good Social Hostel with a Swimming Pool, but Can Be Noisy”

Good location, close to the center of Luang Prabang. The photos match reality, with a well-maintained swimming pool. Cleanliness is okay, even though it could be better, especially in the rooms, but it’s still acceptable. Nice common area to chill, have a drink, grab some food, and chat with other travelers.

The common spaces are really nice.

The hostel is really nice, with a great pool. The rooms are spacious, and they offer tours and motorbike rentals all in the same hostel. The location is great too, about a 15-minute walk to the city center

Good hostel but very very tiny rooms, and I couldn't extend so I had to go elsewhere

Nice garden and swimming pool

The Jam Hostel in Luang Prabang is a clean, friendly, and comfortable place for backpackers. It’s located right in the city center, close to the night market, temples, and cafes, making it easy to explore on foot. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean, and the beds come with privacy curtains, which is great for solo travelers. The staff is kind and helpful, and it’s easy to meet other travelers in the common area, though the vibe is more relaxed than party-like. The only small downsides are that the common area isn’t very big and breakfast isn’t included. Overall, it’s a great choice if you want a quiet, social, and affordable stay in Luang Prabang.

Beds were comfy and hostel close to the night market.

nice social place to stay and make friends without being too loud. great place to also just chill by the pool. staff are really friendly and can book things for you, the waterfall trip was really good. in a good location and plenty of things to do. feels a lot more modern than other places in laos

Hostel was in a good location and good value for money too. The outside area was very pretty and had a nice social feel.

The location was great, everything in town within walking distance and felt very safe to walk even at night.
