“Magical”

We booked for a couple of nights, ended up extending our stay a further week directly with the owners.... even this was not long enough. This is truly a magical place with good food, beautiful location and people. They also offer a free Mekong River sunset cruise and free regular boat shuttle into town. These are both excellent. We also attended the shadow puppet show, we fully recommend this if you get chance. The owners do a lot of outreach in the local community and are genuinely lovely people. We are so sad to be leaving and hope to be able to stay again soon 🙏❤️

Beautiful stay with opportunity to meet lots of amazing strangers. Hosts are also wonderful.

This place is just amazing if you're a nature lover and you like to meet travelers from around the world this is your place, the room/bathroom and balcony wore just on my taste loved every minute. They even have a free boat to take you in the town, so for the first day in Laos it couldn't be better. Also the food is amazing and they can help out to book busses/tours and everything you need.

Wonderful place, by the river , my room was brilliant with a fabulous terrace, i like it so much that extended my stay. Slightly away from the centre but that’s part of its charm. Staff was attentive and always ready to help (fixed my shower straight away when the hot water failed). Highly recommended.

Outside the hustle and bustle of Luang Prabang but not too far that you can’t walk. Amazing location on the river and you can swim. They have a boat shuttle that goes to town several times a day. Staff were helpful and arranged cheap moped for 200k for us. Nice communal area with many chillout spots and food/drink available. Bed was big and comfortable.

It's oriental rustic. Slepping dogs in the day, and cats chirruping at night. The huts (bungalows) are grouped around a central lounge where you can order food and just chill. They are plenty big enough and have outside areas for just sitting and enjoying the atmosphere. Located by the river, Sa Sa Lao has a solar powered ferry boat to take you into the town 10 water minutes away. It's not luxurious but its charm makes up for any fancy bits. Lanoi on reception was particularly kind and helpful.

Charming thatched cottages by the Nam Khan river. Feels a lot like camping, if you like that sort of thing. There's a lovely boat that takes you along the Nam Khan river to the historic district in town.

I liked the vibe and the fact that they give you a free cruise ticket to see the sunset in the mekong. Also they have the option of renting motorbikes/scooters. The cute dogs and puppies they have. 🥰

“Charming place with great restaurant close to airport”

Very close to the airport. Very cool style. Great mosquito net. Good padlock lockable storage room underneath bed. Serves really excellent dinners in cool bar/restaurant/relaxation area. (Long) walking distance to the airport. River boat service to vity center - nice!

“Terrible 2 night without sleep”

The location could be nice but the nonstopp extremely loud noice is dedtroy the place. Oposite riverbank is a nightclub with terifying loud music pluss dogs and roosters equals with 0 sleep
