Night market is around the corner, ferry is 5 min away, quiet, spacious. There was no smell from the drain some comments stated in both rooms I lived in. The breakfast is basic - eggs and toasts. The window leads to the covered terrace, hence the room doesn't get sunlight, but there is a table outside where you can work or chill during the day.

I requested a double bed only to be given 2 singles. They moved me after one night, though. Not the cleanest room/bathroom, they could definitely improve on that. There is no milk with coffee at breakfast, so unless you drink black coffee, you'll not get your coffee there. I also booked a minivan to Nong Khiaw and it took 5 hours! When chatting with other travellers, it normally takes 3.5-4 hours. I wouldn't stay again.

“The worst hotel I've stayed in Laos”

I was very disappointed because the room was very different from the photos on the website. Also, the hotel name on Booking.com is "We House River View", but GoogleMap says "We House Boutique Hotel", and the hotel sign says "We House Guest House". The hotel is not located on a street facing the Mekong River, and even the local taxi drivers couldn't find it. The room was not a river view, and the smell of sewage and mold from the drains was overwhelming, making me feel sick. Also, the room key wouldn't work, so when I told the boy at the front desk, he said, "I'll report this to the manager tomorrow, but there is a security camera, so it's not a problem," and refused to change my room. The next day, they did nothing and it still didn't lock. I was surprised that they assigned me a room that didn't lock (Room 6), and they didn't offer any room change or apology. The breakfast was terrible and not even worth a meal. There are plenty of cheaper and better quality hotels in Luang Prabang, so please be careful not to be fooled by the photos.

I had a great stay here! The owners are very nice. The guesthouse is beautiful.

Great location, next to the Mekong river. Breakfast (with limied choices) in a restaurant at the river. The chief receptionist was very nice and helpful. Good at organizing tours. Unfortunately the only one who spoke sufficient English.

location was directly across the road from the Mekong, the room was pleasant enough and clean, I was asked every day if I needed the room cleaned. staff were very nice and arranged a scooter for me although there was some confusion when I returned it, but this was quickly resolved as I had kept the paperwork. Lovely hotel and I would stay again

“Good Guesthouse, but some things could be better”

Good guesthouse. I rented a family room, and it was very spacious. The staff arranged a scooter for me. Breakfast is served in the restaurant opposite the guesthouse. The location is good, close to the market and the Mekong River.

“Cosy by the Mekong”

Very close to the night market and temples. Lots of places to eat.The mekong is just across the street where you eat your breakfast.Great place to eat and enjoy the sunset. You are at walking distance to the main morning street market and food and night market .They can order a taxi for the airport. The room is a bit small but the aircon was great. It s a cosy place , not busy like big hotels. If you want to do the monks alms at 5.30am , it is just 2mn away. I will definitely come back. The reception staff speak Chinese, English.They are very kind and polite.

“Super friendly, great location”

The host was the most lovely person imaginable. He spoke really good English and was super helpful with us heading out on a cycling tour of Laos.

It is very clean, perfect location! It is right next to the Mankong river and lots of restaurants with fair prices nearby. The owner speaks perfect English and Chinese, and he is trying his best to maintain this hotel. Breakfast was ok, but you get the awesome view during the breakfast. They have a beautiful little yard where you can sit and have a cup of coffee and tea and relax. They offer free coffee and tea all day, which is very nice!
