Beautiful place to stay. The staff, food, rooms, pool and gardens where all amazing. Little bit far from main area but have shuttle bus and can also get a raft across river. Very claean and staff all very helpful. Also have free bike hire . Large room, comftable bed and hot shower.

“simply perfect”

The Madilao Hotel was simply perfect. We stayed there twice during our time in Laos. The rooms are very spacious and everything is spotlessly clean. The staff are extremely friendly and speak very good English. The pool is beautiful, and the gym is very well equipped. The breakfast offers a wide selection, and we also had very good dinners at the hotel in the evenings. There is a free shuttle to the city center several times a day. Otherwise, there is also a bamboo raft nearby that takes you quickly across the river to the center. Close to the hotel we also took part in a cooking class, a wood carving workshop, and a jewelry-making class, which was great. We can highly recommend the Madilao Hotel.

“Great hotel with super staff”

Great hotel a little out of town but shuttle service provided three times a day plus free bikes and ask about the bamboo raft which crosses the river so you can be in the centre in 10 to 15 minutes by any mode of transport. Rooms are big with balconies overlooking the beautiful gardens. We had breakfast plus a few lunches and dinners all were excellent. The staff are friendly and very helpful. We stayed 11 nights longer than most and really enjoyed it. Hopefully we will return one day.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room and facilities were amazing, very pleased with my stay and would love to come here again. It’s a little far from the centre, but they offer a free shuttle bus and free bikes which is great. Also the area around, is full of local arts and crafts shops and workshops, which are worth exploring.

Everything here is amazing. The area is beautiful, more local but still amazing places like P70 pottery and cafe up the road and the tea house. The staff here like Dao and Deu are incredible and are so hopeful with absolutely everything you need!! already planning our next trip back

Located outside of town which we lived as it was peaceful after the hubbub of LP. Hotel offers shuttle into town a few times a day and we always got it back in the evening. Nice pool. Great staff.

“Quiet place in Luang Prabang”

The venue was super comfortable and the staff were always ready to help. The location was perfect for us, as it was nice to start the morning by walking to the city center (about 2km)

The staff here are all wonderful - they go above and beyond. I was unfortunately unwell during my stay and they took very good care of me. As a solo traveller, having a point of contact and staff who make you feel safe when things go wrong is invaluable. Reception was quickly responsive; the manager even helped me in her free time, and the driver accompanied me to the hospital and back, staying with me whilst I received medical care, whilst housekeeping and restaurant staff were continually polite and patient with my requests when unable to leave the room. I am so very appreciative of all the help I received. And of course, the resort is luxurious - quiet, good food, pool, gym, fantastic masseuse.

Hotel Review – 3 Nights at Madilao Hotel I stayed at Madilao Hotel for three nights and would like to share my experience in a fair and balanced way. First, the positive aspects: Overall, the hotel was very clean and well organized. The fitness room was well equipped and maintained, providing a good environment for workouts. The breakfast offered very good value for money and was above average in both quality and selection. The staff members were consistently friendly and polite.

Lovely small low rise hotel. Rooms round pool or beautiful garden. Breakfast was good but could have done with a few more European options.
