Set just 300 meters from the popular Night Market, Chitlatda Bila House is a guest house in the famous Old Quarter of Luang Prabang. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property. “Amazing!!!”
The bed was comfy and it was really clean. The people are so so lovely and welcoming. When they arrived, the showed us our room and sent places to eat on WhatsApp, local ATMS and exchange currency spots. They have us a free bottle of water a day, biscuits offered. I cannot fault this place, the owners made the place that much better by being so welcoming and friendly. If you are going to Hanoi, I would highly recommend staying at Chitlatda Bila House!!!

“Everything great”
Great location, clean room and comfy bed. You can book buses from the accommodation, do laundry and they speak good English, breakfast is ok. I would repeat my stay there

“great choice”
location is just perfect, you walk out and you are surrounded by multiple cafes and restaurants. Rooms were very clean. Staff super nice. I booked for 2 days and loved it so much that I stayed for 8 days. I moved to first floor after two days which was a great upgrade. Rooms downstairs are dark and without a window to outside, which is ok for 1,2 days. Breakfast was great. I would go back.

We regret staying here, especially during Christmas. - Staff talking very loud to each other constantly or on the phone, which you can clearly hear in the room. Also their dogs are barking a lot. - Shower takes 10 min to get warm and yeast in the bathroom - Towels smell like smoke - Big spiders walking around - Airco makes a lot of sound - We asked for train tickets to Vang Vieng the day we arrived, two days later he told us he could only get tickets for 19.20 while we specified we wanted to leave during the day. At first he said that would be difficult, but 18.45 or 19.00 should definitely be possible so we said with some reluctance the 18.45 option. Only two days later he really did something to acquire tickets and then only 19.20 was available... we also had to pay twice the amount of the actual ticket price, which is 168.000 kip. To make things even worse, we could not use the room till 17.00 (even though it was available) when we will be picked up to go to the train station and would have to pay 400.000 kip extra, even though it is his fault we are leaving later. Worst service we have ever had. This bad service was also visible in other little things, like specifically removing the coffee and tea bags after breakfast time. They clearly do not have the best interest for the customer in mind and it seems to be more about the money…
