Horrible staff who aided a taxi fellow to steal from me..the normal taxi rate is 2000 kwanza(not more than usd5)but when the taxi brought me to the hotel after going round and round with me to justify high charges,for a distance of 10 minutes i thought the hotel staff would assist me as a foreigner,instead they said they dont know how much it costs to the airport by taxi,....when i even asked them how much is the usd exchange rate to angolan currency they said they dont know yet later when i was paying for the hotel they gave me a rate of 520 kwanza to one usd..all they wanted is to assist the taxi man to steal from me as he was demanding usd50 equivalent to 26000 kwanza for a distance that costs 2000 kwanza ...after a lot of arguements with the taxi man alone without assistance from the hotel staff(2 receptionists)i paid the taxi about 15,000 kwanza(about usd 30)i have travelled all over the world but i have never come across such horrible hotel receptionists...total thieves happy to aid the stealing of their customer.this are thieves that deserve to be arrested

The rate was really fine compared to the prices in Luanda. The hotel and the rooms are very clean, so that was really good. The rooms are also very spacious and so is the bathroom. Although the staff dont speak English, they really go out of their way to help. The hotel is located in the city centre.
