My husband and I visited Lovedale from Sydney to attend a wedding in Lovedale. The Venue was only a 10 mins drive from our accommodation and only 5 mins to our fav Cafè. We loved everything about the property. The scenery, the quietness the animals our hosts😊

My wife and I stayed here for the first time and Ric and Kim did their upmost to make us feel comfortable and welcome. They kept us informed about transport options and when you can come and see the cows and donkeys being fed.

“Lovely stay at Rothbury downs, I would recommend”
The beds were super comfortable and they feed the cows and donkeys in the morning so we got to meet them! It was a great location for the balloon aloft festival and for a pick up for a local wine tour. The rooms were very comfortable with all the amenities you could need! The check in / out process was really easy and smooth!

We had the most amazing time away at Rothbury Downs. The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful. It’s a lovely, intimate spot where you can spend most of your time when holidaying. We had a beautiful time and will definitely be back x

“Gorgeous guesthouse with a beautiful view”
The property is located in a stunning part of Lovedale. The rooms were clean and well equipped. It was easy to get to and perfect for exploring the rest of the Hunter. Kim and Rick were both such accommodating people who clearly have put a lot of love into the place. I would happily stay there again.

Kim and Ric cannot go wrong. Comfortable rooms, Awesome views, excellent facilities. Henry, Banjo, Rocco and Apollo were also excellent hosts and kept us entertained!!!
