As a 70 plus year old, the uphill walking was too much for me so a car was essential, both up to Glossa and down to the port, as well as touring. Car rental on Skopelos is comparatively expensive - cheaper to find one in Skiathos (some will allow you to take a car across and, depending on the number of days, it is likely to be cheaper, even factoring in the ferry costs). There are a few restaurants in the port, including a nicely located fish taverna. Babis is a pleasant host and worth engaging for info. He kindly picked us up from the port on arrival.

The views from the balcony were outstanding. The apartment was clean and comfortable,basically equipped kitchen area. Babis very kindly picked us up from the port and took us down when we left. Very quiet. Very good bus service from the port.

Great rooms and very welcoming staff! They were so sweet to come and collect us from the port when we arrived. The rooms were big and very well kept/cleaned. The hotell is a bit of a climb up the hill but there are a set of stairs that take you all the way down to the seafront.

“Fabulous!”

Our stay was amazing! The guys running the hotel were fabulous and did an great job. Very friendly and easy to communicate with. Always willing to help or answer any questions. Our room was spacious and very clean also during our stay. Wlthey were well air conditioned and the balcony with the seaview was so lovely. The location was perfect for us, close to all the best beaches. And we loved staying in Glossa. So much nicer than in Skopelos Town, which we've stayed in before. All in all we would love to return here in the future. Loved the island and love this hotel. Thank you guys!

“I really enjoyed staying here, definitely recommend :)”

They provided a drive to the hotel when we arrived to the port. At first you might see in google maps that it’s a 17-18 minutes, but there is a shorter way - however be aware of the lot of steps from the stairs. Glossa port, bus and taxi station is around 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The view, the sunsets are incredibly amazing. The kitchen was well-equipped, beds were comfortable. The room itself is really hot but there is an air conditioner. Supermarkets and restaurants are nearby. There are some places around to swim, mostly rocky beaches.

A really super, well-run hotel above Loutrakis with amazing sea views. A spacious and really well-appointed room - comfrotable double bed, mini kitchenette, en-suite shower room, table space, and balcony from which to enjoy those amazing views. The proprietors are very friendly and welcoming. For those who are fit and with no mobility issues, there are a series of stairways down to the sea front and back up. But the main entrance is from the road higher up. When I arrived with my luggage in the wrong place (below the hotel, not at its main entrance), one of the owner kindly came and picked me up ... and I get the impression is does this often and gladly.

A fabulous place for an holiday in shopelos! Close to the Glossa port, you can get there by a stairs. Very clean, equipped with air conditioning and all kitchen amenities, with a stunting view from the room balcony! Moreover a staff super kind and friendly! Very well done! Hope to see you soon again!

“Great view but very basic.”

The view was amazing and the staff/owners were very nice. The room was very clean. Aircon worked well. We were supplied with cold water which was great as it was very hot. The owners made us a Frappe on arrival.

Beautiful view, and they pick you up in the harbour.

Personnel extremely polite. Apartment extremely clean. Everything was cleaned every day and towels changed. The view from the balcony is incredible and very relaxing to have breakfast in the morning or dinner with a sunset view in the evening. Apartments were calm during our stay.
