“Great place and stay”
Great place to stay in the Luberon, away from the crowds of Lourmarin and truly authentic. In the middle of vineyards and fields of crops, with comforts and space to enjoy some quietness. Hosts extremely flexible and hospitable. We enjoyed it thoroughly and absolutely recommend it.

What an amazing stay at La Rivayne! Jean-Philippe was a fantastic host - he made us feel very welcome, we could always contact him easily if we needed anything, he suggested towns and vineyards to visit, and helped us book great restaurants in Lourmarin for dinner on two of our nights. Our room was very clean, well-equipped, and designed in the traditional Provencial style. The hotel is surrounded by vineyards and olive trees making it a beautiful setting for the daily continental breakfast, an afternoon stroll, or an evening drink. The pool is also a great size, clean, and has scenic views of the vineyards. As the hotel is in the middle of the Provence countryside and only has a small number of rooms, it is the perfect spot for those wanting to enjoy some peace and tranquility. The hotel is only a 5-10 minute drive away from the lovely town of Lourmarin which has lovely quaint streets to explore and some fab restaurants and bars with a great atmosphere when dining outdoors in the evenings. The hotel was also a perfect base for exploring some of the neighbouring towns including Bonnieux and Gordes. (N.B. you will need a car to travel around the region and La Rivayne has free parking!)
