“An oasis of kindness and hospitality in Galacia. A lovely place to stay!!”

The property is a few kilometres from the Camino, but the proprietor (Carlos) is more than happy to pick pilgrims up from the Camino and drop them back the next day. The room was ensuite, clean and lovely.

Perfect location - quiet, nice Great room Perfect host - Carlos took good care of us, he picked us up in Lourenzá, made dinner and breakfast, and drove us back to Lourenzá to continue on the Camino.

Carlos the host was wonderful. Picked me up from the Camino & took me back next morning. Cooked me a delicious Cod dinner. I had an individual cabin type room with doors opening to the garden. Comfortable bed and lovely decor. Beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Carlos doesn’t speak any English but we managed to communicate regardless.

Excellent host who cooked me the best meal that I had all week. The hotel is set in a beautiful isolated allocation just outside town which is easily accessed by a short taxi ride. I would thoroughly recommend.

The place is really quiet, and away from any noises. The host Carlos is amazing person, will pick you up from Camino route (since the property is off the route) and next morning will drop you back. He and his mom will cook dinner for you and don’t get surprise with the portion 😁

“Great accommodation near Lourenza”

Really lovely refurbished farmhouse outside of Lourenza. Carlos picked us up then brought us back into town to see the monastery and have dinner and collected us again. In the morning he dropped us back into Lourenza again. He was friendly and helpful and the farmhouse was very comfortable with interesting old tools preserved downstairs.

For anyone wishing to experience authentic Galician rural life, look no further than Casa Xeada. Carlos the host is really friendly and cannot do enough for you to make your stay in the Galician countryside truly memorable.

Great host who picked us up and dropped back to our Camino walk. Huge and tasty meals available. Beautiful environment and amazing accommodation that he can be very proud of.

The host Carlos was very accomodating to prepare a dinner for us out of normal hours. Thank you very much! Beautifully renovated house. The location is superb and tranquil.

Carlos was wonderful. what a spectacular spot. A hidden gem. Away from the crowds. The accomodation was superb. Isla, the family dog, is enormous, but nowhere near as enormous as the steak we were served up for dinner. the meals were amazing. The rooms are well-appointed. Do yourself a big favour and stay here. Carlos drove us back to the Camino in the morning so it was a lovely start to our day. Best place ever!

Thanks for the hospitality, the owner was great, cordial and helpful. The house is out of town, but the owner will bring and take you. We are on our way to Santiago de Compostela and we are pilgrims. We got a great dinner and breakfast

this was the best stay on a fifteen day journey of the Camino by bicycle. the location is a bit secluded but the place is adorable. it’s like staying with family. Carlos will take good care of you and the food they offer is amazing. a real homely stay!
