Superb villa with great views of the bay. Incredibly hospitable host, who provided home cooked treats during our stay, and then farewell gifts on our departure. Villa was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Good wifi. Overall, faultless. There was even a garage to park our hire car.

“Great accommodation, great hosts, great location”

The villa is located in Simotata which is very central on the island making it easy to access all of the beautiful beaches by car (which I highly recommend). Each day we would visit a different beach and each day we would be surprised by the beauty of the island. Within 30-40mins you could be in a complete different environment but then just down the road you have also have Lourdata which is a wonderful beach and many restaurants. The villa is immaculate and spacious, the beds are super comfortable and you have AC in every room. The open plan kitchen and lounge lead to the balcony / terrace which has spectacular views and we certainly enjoyed some wonderful sunsets and evenings enjoying meals and sipping refreshing drinks. The hosts are super friendly and when we requested that we wanted to do a BBQ, they insisted that they prepare the wood etc Greek style, which was fabulous!

“Exceptional Villa stay”

The views from the villa are exceptional. The balconies have wonderful views of the sea and the coastline. In addition the villa is finished to an extremely high specification with very good fittings. The owner who lives next door was always giving us homegrown fruit and vegetables. Real Greek hospitalty. An wonderful place stay.

the villa was perfect. it was very comfortable and with all the necessary things. Everything was new and well maintained. There were clean everywhere. The view from the villa was wonderful, the location also The owner was very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. If you want to try an original Greek vacation, I recommend this island and this villa.

“Exceptional views, spacious villa, perfect place to stay in Kefalonia”

The villa was very spacious, much larger than we expected from the photos. Each room has access to a balcony with stunning views, we spent most evenings sitting on a balcony and soaking in the breathtaking scenery. Every room has air conditioning and is beautifully decorated. Having an integral garage meant that the car stayed cool for when we needed to use it. What really made our holiday exceptional was the kindness of our hosts, they visited us most evenings to bring us fresh fruit from their garden, homemade jam, and home cooked desserts. They were so helpful and welcoming, Greek hospitality at it’s best, thank you to them for making this holiday so special. The walk to the nearest beach is down a steep hill, and the walk back rather challenging, but there are some lovely tavernas on the way in which to stop for some refreshment. The area is quiet, which is exactly what we wanted, but a really good base for exploring the island away from the more commercial areas. I hope we will be able to return here again in the future.
