Located on the beautiful Rokosjøen lake, Skomakerhuset (the Cobbler's Cottage) was an absolute delight. We were only two this weekend, but the house can easily house a family or three. There is everything you need and more. Lots of quiet, your own private beach, a garden for kids (and deer) to roam in - a beautiful view of the full moon on the lake. I have added it to my favourites.

“Fantastic family holiday”
Skomakerhuset is just by Rokosjøen Lake, near Løten. The location is stunning, unspoilt and tranquil, and there’s a little jetty to aid swimming in the lake just outside the house, as well as a pedalo, and other games. The house itself has plenty of space for a family, and has all the facilities needed for a very easy holiday. The bathrooms are smart, the shower is great - there’s plenty of hot water - and the beds are very comfortable.

“Fabulous lakeside cottage near Elverum”
A lovely well equipped cottage surrounded by nature. Good place to relax overnight when travelling between Oslo and Røros. It is about 15 mins to Elverum town. The house is on a beautiful lake shore with a lovely garden and forest. A logging/wood factory is nearby but at the property you don’t notice it. I enjoyed birdwatching on the lake which had geese, cranes and black throated divers. The enclosed porch area with great lounge chairs means the views can be enjoyed whatever the weather! Beautiful fireplace for winter. Also great power shower. Hope to come back sometime.

“worth to rent”
We felt very comfortable for everything. landlord is very kind. from giving us GPs guide and even come to have look while we were in. we will for sure to book this house if?we come to Norway

We enjoyed the house very much, and the nature was fantastic. The whole family was enjoying and the we would like to come back. It was overwhelming.
