“Peaceful retreat at Casa Amarilla”

We had an excellent stay at Casa Amarilla, nestled in a banana plantation and surrounded by both ocean and mountains. The atmosphere was peaceful and calm, with only the occasional rooster’s song in the morning. The staff were very friendly, easy-going and welcoming. The house itself is charming and full of history, providing all the facilities you need. Breakfast was simple yet rich, with good coffee, fresh bread, pastries, fruit, jamon... more than enough to start the day well. We particularly enjoyed exploring the area with the free bikes and the restaurants nearby. Overall, a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Really cozu, slightly rustic hotel in the middle of banana plantantions. The village and beach are close by. There is the bus stop nearby if you want to make a trip to the city without a car. The breakfast was exellent. The rooster woke us up for breakfest.

“A peaceful, relaxing stay”

Casa Amarilla is a beautiful place to stay, you’re surrounded by banana trees and other lovey plants. The scenery is amazing and the building itself is very pretty too. Staff are lovely and breakfast was great. The location is very quiet and out of the way, you will need a vehicle to make life easier as the hotel doesn’t serve food or drinks past breakfast. There are tea making facilities though. It’s a great place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet a relaxing holiday.

“Very calm and cozy, but a bit isolated”

This was our second stop during a road trip around the island. We appreciated the peaceful surroundings and the very tasty breakfast. We happened to catch some windy, cloudy weather (June/July), so we spent most of our days exploring the west coast and only returned to the accommodation in the evenings. In hindsight, we might have preferred a smaller apartment in a larger or more historical town for a similar price.

You will be staying in an old farmhouse, with a porch and amazing views of the mountain. The house is in the middle of a banana tree farm. We didn't use the pool, but it's a very nice relaxing place and has the same wonderful view. The breakfast is very good, with enough variety and quality products. You definitely need a car to get around.

“Beautiful in photos”

A hotel in the middle of a banana plantation, surrounded by beautiful nature. Nice staff. The building itself, however, takes us back in time - everything is nice only in the pictures. The door with a huge gap, a terrifyingly cold bathroom with a vent to the corridor, microscopic and leaky windows, no central heating, very steep stairs and constant noise - from a room, a corridor, a terrace and a sports field right next to it. Breakfasts served, monotonous for a week's stay - only the method of serving eggs could be different (scrambled eggs, omelette, hard-boiled eggs, water, etc.).

This is such a unique accommodation; it really made our stay a remarkable experience. The location is amazing, as it is placed in an old finca right in the middle of a banana plantation. The house, even old, looks outstanding and is squeaky clean. The people working there are extremely kind and always welcoming, and the breakfast was spot on with a lot of various cold cuts, fruits, and pastries. This kind of accommodation truly enhances your experience in Tenerife.

“Wonderful stay in a beautiful historic mansjon”

Wonderful, historic house beautifully decorated with antiques. Situated, quietly in the middle of a beautiful banana plantage, it is a little heaven. It only has 7 rooms, therefore it's very quiet and you really feel at home and are received as such. The staff is fantastic, so warmly welcoming and always glad to help and advise you. The breakfast is superb, served in style in harmony with the whole house. The area is very nice as well, with the beach just around the corner and a nice little village with an excellent restaurant and the typical spanish bars. Casa Amarilla has free bicycle to easily explore the beautiful surroundings.

“Perfect stay with amazing views”

Everything was perfect! The location is amazing. We stayed right in the banana plantation with stunning views. It's better to have a rental car, but if you don't drive, there is a bus station not far from the hotel. The host is very friendly and welcoming.

Such an amazing place with it's history. Comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast.

“A magical stay in a living museum”

A truly magical place. You can really feel as if you are in an old movie - or in the plot of old book. A plantation estate, almost fully authentic to this day, all the furnishings and decor is left from the olden times - you feel like you are living in a museum. Lovely breakfast. Has a nice pool (not heated - we visited in November, water was a bit cold), you an also walk around between banana plants, as the hotel is directly in the middle of the banana plantation.

very beautiful old house with historical colonial furniture, nicely decorated rooms, comfy beds, nice breakfast with fresh fruits and fresh eggs of your choice, gave me a bottle of delicious red wine, parking is right in front of the door
