The location is great for Aconcagua, if you have a car. It's about a ten minute drive from the start of the trail and there's lots of parking. It's surrounded by beautiful mountains and has an outside seating area that allows you to enjoy it. The host, Daniel, is super friendly and was very accommodating, for example creating vegetarian options for me. The food is simple but tasty and well priced. Great option for a short stay to access the mountains and get an authentic experience.

Daniel, the son of the owner, attended us with great attention and friendliness. The accommodation is basic although comfortable and is probably at the moment the best choice for spending the night near the access of the Aconcagua national park. Daniel provided us with breakfast and cooked us a very good dinner . Much as gracias Daniel!

“Lovely hostel in the mountains and even lovelier owner”

The lady that runs this hostel is lovely and she really went out of her way to make you feel at home. The food in the evening was a good price and it was beautiful. I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. Thank you.

A truly wonderful place, run by Joana, just a few kilometres from the entrance to Mount Aconcagua & its National Park, and the Puente del Inca. The Andesmar bus between Mendoza & Las Cuevas (on the border with Chile) stops at the front door. Views from the area out the front are amazing! There's a really nice eating / drinking place to hang out & the homemade cooking is lovely! Highly recommended!

“Mountains and beautiful stars and people, of whom there were few around.”

The location was amazing, with mountains all around! Johana who works there was so friendly and cooks very well and taught me how to play an Argentine card game with cards I had never seen until then and there. And Mishi the cat is very sweet too! And met interesting travelers there.

Perfect location to hike around Aconcagua away from tourist crowds; Johanna's smiles and her hot meals - she is super attentive and caring! Cosy room with a working heater; Beautiful night sky and fresh air each time stepping out of the room; Great value!!
