Very large for two people, with an outdoor terrace on both sides. There was a toothbrush kit, some fruit and a bottle of wine ready. Apartment is located right in the center of town, and mere meters from places where you can rent bicycles or book a a trip. For me this was ideal.

The apartment is the upstairs apartment of 2 in a house in a quiet and the best part of Los Llanos. It's in the quaint old town, a short walk from everything. The building has been beautifully renovated and is well furnished. Small bars, shops and cafés are nearby. The garage at 4€ per day is great for a car or motorcycle. There are 2 cycles for free use - the tyres might need pumping up. The large front terrace catches the sun and the small terrace at the back is in shade. Ely is lovely and a great host who doesn't speak a word of English or German so have an auto translate ready! Los Llanos is a good sized and interesting town with motorcycle and car hire up the road as well as good and regular bus connections around the island. At 300m up, it's slightly cooler than the coast but that's not a bad thing. The roads are great fun and challenging and walking possibilities are endless. Tourists are mostly middle aged/retired Germans with a few Dutch and English.

“Perfect location”

The location is fantastic. It's in the historic part of the city, the streets are so pretty and great for walking and exploring. It's only minutes away from lots of cafes, restaurants and bars but it is so quiet at night! The house itself is gorgeous, exactly like the pictures. It's clean, bright, airy and feels like a home away from home. The terraces are beautiful, one off the bedroom with a view of the mountains and the other off the living area with a view over the rooftops, the perfect breakfast/dinner spots if you're cooking for yourself. The coffee machine is great, and there's also a kettle in one of the drawers for tea. The kitchen has all the basic utensils and cooking equipment needed. The bed is really comfortable and the pillows are good too. There are blinds and curtains so the room is nice and dark for sleeping. We used the onsite parking which is so useful, it's a secure garage below the apartment but really is only for small cars which was fine for our little hire car. Ely the host was really lovely, even though she speaks no English and I no Spanish, we managed just fine! Communication was great during the run up and during/after the stay (thanks to Google translate!) I would 100% recommend staying here.
