A lovely peaceful property, very quiet and stress free. It felt like stepping back in time, with beautiful antique furnishings, and the gardens were well kept and great to wander through . But it still had internet access if you need to stay in the current century. A beautiful bath and enough hot water to enjoy a soak. A wonderful big pool to relax around . They even were able to arrange horse riding to view the property from the hill above! The staff were super helpful with everything I needed, even though there was a certain language barrier

An oasis of calm and elegance after a long day day on the road. We were made very welcome and the whole place was a delight.

The place itself is a historic location and part of Chilean history. You will get a personal tour around all important rooms, and you can smell the history and it feels like a museum. Every room you can stay in is different and feels like you are back in the 19th century. Our bathroom could be locked with a 5 inch key. Food was amazing and the staff made a romantic table in the center of the garden. We got our breakfast in bed. Don't know if they can give this amount of personal attention when they are fully booked, since we were the only ones there midweek, but I'm sure they will give their everything to make you feel special at this unique location.

Overall, this is an amazing place to stay and I would highly recommend it. Possibly the best place we have ever stayed. Staff (especially Antonio) were excellent, very warm and welcoming. They were very attentive and could not do too much. The owner came and saw us on our first night to check how we were getting on. The buildings and rooms are exceptional - very well decorated and full of interesting, historic articles. The hotel has some historic rooms available to view, including a lounge and chapel. We ate in the amazing dining room. The room was comfortable, clean and very spacious. It had plenty of storage space, with hangers in the wardrobe as well as lots of drawers. The bathroom was also large enough to host a party. Breakfast was very nice - varied, good spread of savoury and sweet options. The gardens around the hotel are wonderful for taking a short walk in and are well looked after.

Absolutly beautyful ,big and stylish hacienda. Dinner was served in the garden on antique silver plates. Very good food. We enjoyed every moment there. Worth to recommend.

“Fantastic stay at the outstanding Hotel Hacienda”

Hotel Hacienda is located in a historical building dating back from the early 1600. We are pleasantly surprised to see that the room has its own wonderful fireplace and it provides us with warmth and creates a cosy atmosphere. After we check-in, the manager gave us a guided tour of the facility with detailed explanation of the history. We had our breakfast as well as dinner in an historical environment and they are delicious! The inner garden provides a quiet area for relaxation and we could even see peacocks on the surrounding rooftops in the morning. The staff was very attentive and helpful throughout the stay and the entire stay was wonderful and the atmosphere couldn’t be any better!

“Beyond words!”

What a beautiful venue. I was the only guest for the two nights that I was there (mid week in winter), and was given the royal treatment. My room was massive, and the bed was very comfortable. The antique furnishings and fabric covered walls are so special. The bathroom was functional, and there was plenty of hot water. The monogrammed towels were big and fluffy. Meals are served in a spectacular dining room and were delicious. The meals are served on beautiful crockery and with the most delightful antique hand crafted cutlery. I spent 2 days just exploring the surrounding areas. There is beautiful scenery and good bird life. Casa Sliva, a big winery with a good restaurant, is also not far away. They have a chapel on the property and seems like they cater for a lot of conferences and weddings. But it really was the perfect stop over on my way from Santiago heading further south. It's only 5 minutes off Ruta 5.

A truly wonderful experience and stay in a place with such history and old world charm. It was so quiet and peaceful, we loved every minute of it. Breakfast and dinner was in the grand dining room. To relax and even take your after dinner coffee, we had the use of either the gold or red drawing rooms. Lunch was served in the courtyard with peacocks and the hotels two lovely dogs for company. The hotel staff made us very welcome and were attentive without being overbearing. If you’re up for a horseback ride, you can book these by the hour and enjoy scenic views of the valley from different parts of the estate. Just be aware there are some steep tracks to navigate!
