Hotel Montera Plaza is set in the typically Andalusian village of Los Barrios, 10 minutes' drive from Algeciras’ coastline. It features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi access. The spacious, air-conditioned rooms at the Montera are brightly decorated with parquet floors. Each has a balcony and satellite TV. “Ideal spot for our trip.”
The room was very good and spacious, the guy on reception was very helpful and gave us some good information. We also found a nice place to eat very close by.

Great stopover accommodation on the way to/from Algeciras. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Clean and spacious room, very comfortable bed, and really nice buffet breakfast, with the added bonus of a good barista-made coffee.

Good place to stay if you are catching a ferry, a few miles from the ferry terminal but quiet, good value, and the town provided a nice meal for excellent value

Nice modest hotel for quick one night stay. Staff was kind, but struggled with English. Balcony view was towards parking lot/ city, which was okay, but probably much nicer towards inner yard with the pool etc Gas station (24 hours) with selection of snacks and food, was right next door.

“Very good overnight stop.”
Clean and comfortable room, in a modern hotel and location perfect for our travels. Evening meal in the bar was good quality. Had to depart before breakfast, but staff gave us a take away, which was thoughtful. Would return and recommend.
